Atheists as people might not be demons, but their belief system of no God gives demons authority to operate thru them. Those who don't have the seal of the Holy Spirit are being used by demons to persecute God's children.

"Atheists" recognize schizophrenia, paranoia, and psychosis as treatable medical conditions, not demons.
I'm sorry, I didn't understand that belief in god grants the following power:
Seal of the Holy Spirit (Su): : The believer benefits at all times from protection from evil , as cast by a 20th-level caster. This effect is negated by dirt, drinking, unholy thoughts, and the mere existence of persons of homosexual persuasion at all, anywhere, ever. The effect is negated at the start of the action that negates it, and persists for 24 hours after the action ends.
How do I acquire more powerful demons? The lazy ones operating through me haven't done anything to persecute God's children; they only lead me to leave snarky comments on FSTDT. And, frankly, I think I'm perfectly capable of doing that on my own.
"The seal of the Holy Spirit"
What is this used for? To seal their eyes and ears shut?
I give no one the authority to operate through me.
This is fair enough, really; if the poster wants to believe in demons, that's ok.
...until the bit about persecution at the end.
Get over yourself, Driver.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Poor persecuted Christians.
As an atheist, I am confident that I am not being influenced by your fictional God, Jesus, angels, Satan nor demons. Christians, on the other hand, ARE being influenced by these fictional characters. Sad, but true.
And we're being singled out why? I mean, surely this applies to, say, Buddhists, too, right?
I guess when you believe in no god, you automatically believe that hell spawn controls your each and every action.
I love how there is no true fundie concept of "Free Will" or "Choice". You either choose God, or you're being controlled by demons not to choose god.
Your mother sucks cocks in Hell, Driver, you faithless slime...
Oh, sorry. I was momentarily possessed by Pazuzu.
Demons operating through poeple? You mean like Jerry Falwell, Bob Allen, David Almond, Fred Phelps, and George Bush?
So if I believe in dragonflies, will that keep mosquitoes away? I mean, if all you have to do to keep demons away is believe in God, it sounds like your mind has some sort of repellent power. Or rather, God reads your mind and then confers the repellent on you if you have the right thoughts. What if you believe in God, but think he's an invisible wad of flying spaghetti? Do you get the demon immunity? Or does it only work if you believe in the Bible? How about if you believe in the Bible but also the Quran? Or how about if you accept the Gospels but think Paul was a misogynistic blow-hard? This is very confusing.
Confused?
