Yep, all part and parcel of anti-Christ. It all began when "Bewitched" came onto TV, and the Mrs. Greer came along for rights, and then they dropped the "age of consent" from 21 to 18, and then to 16, and then to 14, and they are now trying to get it to 12. Then they gave rights to minors to make major decisions in their lives, and now they can divorce their parents. Interesting!

I didn't know "Bewitched" had such power. I wish Elizabeth Montgomery was still alive so I could thank her.
I bet Elijah's just upset because his teenager(s) are interested in living their own lives and the law's backing them up.
Siberia: It was 14 here in Canada for quite some time; recently it was raised to 16 with a close-in-age exemption for 14- and 15-year-olds (can consent with those up to 5 years older).
I don't think anyone seriously suggested dropping it to 12, though.
Ah-ha the real TRUTH of the CRC...the CRC = Chicago Rabbinical Council. We knew the Jews were behind this all along.
Next week I will be appearing in Vegas with ron "I have the mustache of a gay '70s porn star (second class)"4jesus.
I wonder when these people are gonna realise that no one cares about age of consent. once someone is old enough, no amount of blind denial will change weather teens have sex. doesn't matter if you "let" them or not, and no amount of covering your ears and pretending it's not happening will make your little fantasy world come true.
to think that the age of consent was ever 21 is just wrong. I know a whole bunch of people who've had more sex before their 18th birthday then a lot of people have in their whole lives. there's nothing wrong with them either, no drunken orgies, delinquency, violence, unwanted pregnancies, or STDs. because they were never forced to hide that they had sex, it was never forbidden to them,so they grew up doing it right, proper protection, sex ed, and healthy relationships.
over protection causes much more harm then good. I don't personally think shielding your kids from something they'll face later in life anyway makes much sense. all because of your god damn nonsensical taboos about anyone under the age of "married" not being able to even hear the word sex.

Oh no! Human offspring are actually not sub-human simply because they haven't survived 18 trips around the Sun! Teh horrorz!!
Seriously, all you fundies out there, ask yourself: if teenagers weren't meant to have sex, why did your God design humans to be ready for it in their early teens by way of the onset of puberty? Isn't your "we must keep our younglings sweet and innocent at all cost" doctrine going against your God's divine plan?
Dude.
The Age of Consent has NEVER been 21 in any U.S. state. In New Mexico, the Age of Consent is (and has been) 13, and nobody's seriously trying to get it lowered (although I'm sure folks like you are trying to get it raised).
In fact, the legal drinking age has been RAISED to 21 nationwide since the 1990s -- some states used to have a legal drinking age as low as 19.
Bewitched?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I've been saying for years (decades, actually) that the world has gone to shit ever since Bewitched debuted, and here's your proof. Take that, atheists!
Actually, Age of Consent doesn't have to do with when teenagers are allowed to have sex, it has to do with adults (people over the AOC) having sex with teenagers. In other words, if the Age of Consent in California is 18, the law doesn't prevent two 17 year olds from having sex, it prevents an 18 year old from having sex with a 17 year old.
So... anti-Christ is trying to destroy us with bad sitcoms? You know that stop-action magic isn't real, right? Oh wait, you're the bunch that falls for that "bow your head" gag. Carry on with your raving, forget I said anything.
"and then they dropped the "age of consent" from 21 to 18, and then to 16, and then to 14, and they are now trying to get it to 12."
Huh? What? What state has a age of consent set at 14? Are we talking about Alabama here?
I love how they think the legal age of consent being changed causes biology to change with it so that one's genitals only grow once they're of the legal age.
Hint guys: People are going to have sex, the difference will be whether they suffer negative or positive consequences for it.
So "Bewitched" is the reason for American moral decay? That's hilarious. And for the record, most of your babble scholars think that Mary was 14 when she got married to Joseph, who they think was at least in his 30's. It's sickening, yes, but it's all on you guys.
Edit: @Porky Pine: In Alabama, the age at which one can get married is 14. The age of consent, however, is still 18. Figure that one out.
Then they gave rights to minors to make major decisions in their lives, and now they can divorce their parents.
Isn't that usually only reserved for children whose parents are severely fucked up, though? Like "emancipated teenagers"?
Yeah, cos I remember Jerry Lee Lewis marrying his 13 year old cousin .... no, wait, that was back in the 50s when all Americans were god-fearing and upright and nothing bad ever happened, so it can't be true.
Liar. In the United Kingdom the "age of consent" was raised from 9 to 16 in the second half of the 19th century after a huge child prostitution scandal. What it was in US states after 1776 is anyone's guess but I'll bet they followed English law until the state legislatures got round to it.
Bewitched? It was just "My Favorite Martian" given the switcheroo.
Hard to believe, but Bewitched was a brave show for it's day. No churchgoing or mention of God, drinking, smoking, sexual innuendo.
Yes, I'm that old, but I digress. Bewitched didn't change society, it was an early reflection of commerce and domestic life.
The rest of your conclusions are bent also
And in recent years you're claiming the Harry Potter books/films lead youths into witchcraft. What next? You'll be saying anime Magical Girls such as those in Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha/A's/StrikerS & even Strike Witches lowers the age of consent?!
Uh.
Just throwing this out there, my best friend from way back in elementary school was essentially the town ride. She had more sex before I hit puberty than I've had since. Honestly, she was boning as early as the age of NINE, and by the tie she was 14, she had a 21-year-old boyfriend with whom she had lots of sex with.
Age of consent here in Texas?
16.
Even if we DID lower the age of consent to 12, which fuckall knows we wouldn't, it wouldn't change the behavior of our children, it would only reflect what they were already doing.
...and then they dropped the "age of consent" from 21 to 18, and then to 16, and then to 14, and they are now trying to get it to 12.
Wait, what?
It's all that damn Samantha... I always knew it, all along. Even Darin new it, I'm sure... well, BOTH of them knew it. They just had to.
Oh shut up already.
Bewitched has been listed, by gay commentators, as one of the gayest shows ever.
No, really.
First, several cast members were gay. Paul Lynde, of course, the second Darrin, and one of Samantha's aunts, and there has long been speculation about Agnes Moorehead. And Elizabeth Montgomery was straight, but very gay friendly, even when being gay was tremendously scandalous. She and her husband used to play tennis with (whichever Darrin it was) and his partner. And she was Grand Marshal of the West Hollywood Pride Parade at least one.
Plus, look at the theme of the show. The "mortals" were almost all uptight, boring people. The witches and warlocks led fabulous lives, had great clothes, were just generally more fun, but had this deep dark secret that would lead to their utter ruination if any outsider found out about it.
See? And it pre-dated ''Will and Grace'' and ''Ellen'' by what, thirty years?
Confused?
