I hope that they will point out that it is behaviour that causes car crashes. Driving cars is the catalyst for car accidents, and that is something that can be prevented simply by not driving cars.
Ignoring the fact that HIV and AIDS are not gay-exclusive, and that there are more ways to contract it than via sex, it is a product of 'risky' sexual behaviour, just as car crashes are caused by 'risky' driving. Take the proper precautions and you're fine.

Oh FFS... we've been researching AIDS for over 35 years and they've discovered the virus which causes it. It doesn't spontaneously appear because two guys have buttsex.
But I guess you've never heard of the case of Kimberly Bergalis, a virgin who died from AIDS after being infected by her dentist. So I guess having dental work done is now aberrant sexual behavior?
Having sex with an infected person without using condoms, is the behavior that causes AIDS. Genders don't matter; most people contracting AIDS now are heterosexuals in Africa. Many of them have been told, by influential people like the Pope, that it's condoms that cause AIDS, so they are afraid to use them.
Deluding people to think that only male-on-male sex cause AIDS, is going to cause more AIDS cases, asshole! Forcing gays to stay in the closet, where the only outlets were short encounters with strangers, is what started the epidemic. YOUR behavior is the catalyst for this horrible disease.
