So these are the youtube Darwinists... unaware of the fact that Newton's theory of gravity was shelved after Einstein's theory replaced it... the obvious point being that theories, no matter how long they are believed, are usually discarded when new insights replace them. Darwinism = Newton's old theory.
That lesson was free. I charge for each lesson thereafter.

There is a difference.
The difference is that Einstein was right.
Creationist "scientists" are not right. They are wrong. Ergo, their theory does not get to replace a scientifically valid extant theory.
Usually when something is given away free, that's about what it was worth. Actually that might be a little too much for this particular piece of nonsense. Perhaps you should investigate paying for some science courses xshroud, you might appear less of an idiot.
Some of what you say is true. Old theories that don't make sense are refined or replaced when a better explanation is discovered. "Goddidit" doesn't make any sense, and hasn't for a long time. I'm sure you laugh along with me at the dopes who won't let that one go, right? You do laugh at them, don't you? Right?
As opposed to the Bible which never changes. Ever. No matter WHAT comflicting evidence it presented before it.
A theory isn't just changed or discarded on a wild whim...it's simply taking new evidence into account.
Goodness, you're not only arrogant, you have no knowledge of how physics works! At least you can spell.
And quit calling us "Darwinists." Call us "realists," please.
Newton was never completely "replaced." He was partially right, and Einstein expanded on him. In fact, NASA still uses Newton's laws to conduct some of their missions today.
You see, Newton works, and Einstein works better. Evolution works, and, well, nothing else has worked better yet. When something does, it will most likely expand on evolution.
Indeed, Darwinism is like Newton's theories... in that it's mostly accurate but we've got a newer, shinier, more refined version now.
The lesson was fail, and I bet you won't dismount your high horse for anything cause your ego's in the way.
And the difference between the science of the "Darwinists" and the twaddle of those such as xshroudx is that in science we discard theories when better theories come along and xshroudx and his ilk defend their ancient, proven wrong fairy tale to the bitter end.
The lessons are always free here.
When knowledge of the workings of reality conflict with preexisting beliefs, scientific theories adapt to remain relevant, or are discarded in favour of accurate ones.
When knowledge of the workings of reality conflict with preexisting beliefs, religious dogma denies reality.
Your argument actually supports evolution. If there were credible reason to believe evolution to be in error, it would have been discarded for a theory that was not. A perceptive mind will notice this not to be the case.
The bible has been refuted too... over and over again.
The difference is that scientist willingly put their old dogmas aside, fundies just hold their hands over their ears and go "LALALALALALA".
Wow! That's news to me? Were Newton's theories replaced? Dear God, when did this happen? Was gravity totally disproved?...
...no? Ah, that's why you say that Newtonian physics is just like Darwin's evolutionary theory. They have both changed.
Incorrect (along with several of the responses here, I'm afraid) - Einstein produced a more general set of laws, of which Newton's laws are a subset under the correct conditions. Relativitistic physics tends exactly to Newtonian as the velocities involved fall away from light speed. Newton wasn't wrong, he just didn't have the whole picture.
So, these are youtube creationist..........unaware of the fact that science always redefines and checks and changes, if necessary, theories and conclusions in the light of EVIDENCE.
I suppose you don't know that NASA still use Newton's equations for Spaceflights etc because the differences between his and Einstein's theories only apply at close to the speed of light. Science doesn't completely replace one theory with another, what normally happens is that a new theory comes along, which better explains stuff than the old theory, but is still very similar.
Of course, he never did seem to notice that even though we have a set of more accurate equations, newtons laws still apply. Momentum didn't cease to exist when Einstein formulated his theory of relativity, and things still fall at approx. 9.8 m/s^2.
New theories still have to explain old observations. Any new theory that replaces evolution would still have to explain the similarities in biochemistry, the nested hierarchy of relatedness in DNA and the fossil record. These things don't just go away if a new theory is discovered, they still require an explanation, which means that any theory that would replace evolution would probably end up looking a lot like the current theory of evolution.
Scientists don't "shelve" any coherent theory.
The scriptural claptrap was not only shelved, but completely discarded.
I can get bullshit for free, thank you.

Yes, gravity was totally disproved: its the weight of your sins that keep you on earth...
No, the next drivel to come out of the fundies are that we are kept grounded by the great depressor/supresor above...
"That lesson was free."
And worth every penny.
And Christianiteians/Jesusianites are idiots for making up your own idiotic labeling. Darwinist? Darwinian? WTF is that? Theres no country called Darwinia nor anything called Darwinism. It is called evolution.
And Einstein improved Newton's theories.
Newton was still right about most his theories and Einstein went further and expanded our physics knowledge. It's not about being wrong it's about a more complete understanding. Hawkins has pushed Einsteins ideas just a bit further and there will be more advancements in time.
Darwin would be amazed to see what modern science has done with his theory and proud that he was a part of it
theories, no matter how long they are believed, are usually discarded when new insights replace them.
Well, since I am only allowed one theory at a time, I'm going with the one that says Sir Isaac made some damn fine cookies! Mmmmmmmmmmmm, cookies...
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
