Atheism teaches that sin does not exist, and thus murder is not sinful.
Correct! I totally agree with this, sin doesn't exist and this "sin concept" doesn't work. Look at the ten commandmands: "Thou shalt not kill". Simple, isn't it? But why does this god of the bible order the killing of so many people?
Yes, uhmmm... because it means "Thou shalt not kill, until I (god) say so".
And how do you know that you had talked to god and you have not been tricked by satan before you start your (righteous) killing/murder?
BTW: Do you hear voices in your head?
My point: The Golden rule “do not treat people in a way you would not wish to be treated yourself” beats the ten commandments anytime in terms of morality and is much easier to remember.
Evolution teaches survival of the fittest.
Evolution teaches the survival of the individual, which is better adapted to the environment it lives in. This is not necessarily the strongest, most ruthless or brutal guy, but... wait a second, it's Andrew Schlafly, the guy who doesn't understand the concepts of evolution at all. (Wanna laugh? See: http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2008/06/lenski_gives_conservapdia_a_le.php
Combine the two, and it's easy to see why an atheistic evolutionists, like the Finnish murderer, would not be bothered by massacring innocent children. The logic of the principles *does* tend to permit that conclusion, just as surely as smoking a pack of cigarettes a day does tend to result in lung cancer for some people.
Logic tells: Combine two misconceptions, and the result is arbitrary (and usually bullshit, may I add).
P.S. Merry Christmas and happy holidays@all
