In fact, your Darwin dates have been disproven, making that fact alone reason enough to get rid of it or add the rest of the theories. In science a theory is a thoroughly tested and proven explanation of observed facts. It represents the highest degree of certitude. You know, Zapem, like the heliocentric theory, the theory of relativity ... that kind of stuff.
