a "fetus" has a gender.. doctors tell you if its a boy of a girl before the baby is born. in a video ultrasound of an abortion the babys heart rate goes up just when the suction tube comes in the uteris... i'm not against women having sex? or anything against a womans will.. but abortion goes beyond that. it goes against a human's rights. so DONT claim to be 100% against forcing women to do something against their will when there are women who are killed against their will in the womb

us not uteris. Second, there usually is no heart to beat during abortus. A few hundred cells that are not specialised is usually to be found.

When medical science allows us to remove a fetus from woman's uterus, we can discuss whether or not a fetus should be destroyed in the process. Until, then a woman has the right to remove any invaders using deadly force if necessary.

The fetus does have certain genitals (in the late second trimester or so), but you can't know for certain that it will be identifying itself as male or female, until a few years after it's born. Sure, most individuals born with a penis identifies themselves as male, but not all. And the "gender" is the identity as male or female, not only the physical apearance.
Doctors only tell you the sex if you ask for it.

The fetus is not enough developed to have a will, the woman carrying it is. So fetuses have a right to be born? Tell that to your god, he's the biggest abortionist. All spontaneous abortions must be his work, as he is omnipotent.
Sex organs are developed by week 13. That is the end of the first trimester, not the second. And gender can be determined as early as 14-15 weeks in many cases. However, ultrasounds are not done until around the 20 week mark because it isn't until then that some genetic abnormalities can be detected. The "big" mid-pregnancy ultrasound is not to determine gender, that's just a bonus. It's intention is to diagnose health defects that can not be seen during earlier scans.
As for the heartbeat? It can be detected on ultrasound as early as the 5th week of pregnancy. A fetus at 5 weeks gestation looks like this:
