Yeah we all know the pagan roots of Christmas, but reguardless of the roots...it is still celebrating the birth of Christ the Saviour. Jesus gets all the glory, not pagans. Like it or not, if you are participating in Christmas, you are worshipping Jesus Christ.

Tenka: They need someone to blame for the problems they have in their institutions. They keep harkening back to the days where fear and guilt kept people out of trouble. And staying silent was always better that being punished for a bad thought.
It worked, but you created a burden and kept the problems in the closet where they couldn't be solved. Not that everything distasteful should be a problem, but those who choose to talk might learn something they hadn't before, or might be able to get a better perspective.
Okay, enough armchair psychology. :)

Oh, so that's what my co-worker was doing at the office Christmas party when she gulped down a triple Jameson's and photocopied her butt.
So when I go to my families house on Christmas I am actually worshipping you bastard demi-god? Wow, golly.. I didnt feel like I was worshipping anything.
Oh well, no big deal to me.. maybe to the fundies.. but not me.

Re-guard-less?
Wow. A new favorite.
But the DATE is of Saturnalia, not Jesus’ birthday.
And your bible doesn’t mention pine trees, garlands, stockings, or silly songs about sleighbells.
And just about every Nativity scene I see has three wise men there, in direct contradiction to the Bible.
It’s a hodgepodge celebration that exists EXACTLY because pagans would not stop celebrating Saturnalia.
“Jesus gets all the glory, not pagans.”
The Yule Log is the three that Hanged Man was hanged on. Burning it releases him again…
The Xmas Tree is the World Tree of the Norse.
SANTA gets all the glory.

So, if your calendar uses the month January, you’re worshiping Janus.
If your appointment book uses Wednesdays, you’re worshiping Wotan.
And you almost certainly use Arabic Numbers, so don’t you worship Allah?
Sorry, Trick question. ‘Allah’ is what the Arabic christains call the God you both worship.
So, not sorry, and not worshiping Jesus. I’m here for the chocolates.
Confused?
