This is an excellent point. And it must always be kept in mind that ideology was the cause of the mass-murders of the 20th century. In the USSR anyone who questioned collectivization (and there were people who questioned it based on natural law) was imprisoned or killed. There are a lot of stupid people (Lenin called them "useful idiots") who will treat their ideology as proven scientific fact.
The homosexual orientation ideology is the kind of belief that can cause the Left-fascist useful twitidiots to kill in the name of "tolerance." They view as "bigots" the many people who see homosexual behavior (especially male homosexuals) as the result of sexual obsessions (similar to food obsessions).

Second of all, get over yourself. You actually think we want to kill people in the name of "tolerance?" Isn't that a little counter-intuitive? People are being killed, tortured, and persecuted - and are living in fear - because of scum like Scott Lively, spreading their homophobic poison around the world. The kind of ideology that causes suffering is the kind that people like Scott Lively - and you, for that matter - hold.
Wait, how many people have been killed in the name of tolerance in the entire history of humanity? Not the US, not the last ten years or so, but in the entire fucking history of the human species. How many exactly?
Homosexuality is unchangeable. Why do you think all those straight camps have such miserable failure rates?
And how exactly does someone kill in the name of tolerance? What kind of F-ed up world do these idiots live in where they think this is logical?
And in medival Europe, anybody who questioned Christianity was incarcerated, killed or declared insane. What's your point?

One kills in the name of tolerance by stretching the necks of bigotry-motivated murderers.

And just how many straights are being killed by gays simply because they are straight? On the other hand, I can, just off the top of my head, name at least a half dozen gays who were murdered by straights for no other reason than because they were gay, and that's just in the last decade, and in the U.S.

Blaming Karl Marx and Lenin (who did have his share of deads, but only while he was alive, so he should only be held responsible for the deaths he caused) for the deaths of Communism is like blaming Jesus and Martin Luther for the deaths of Christianity.
The problem with Lively's definition is that,if homosexuality is unproductiv 8/14/2013 5:40:08 AM e AND voluntary, why would men have it anyway?. It's as if saying that people, out of the blue, decide not to eat or drink. What's the point?. Some anorexic women, granted, don't eat in order to achieve an unrealistic standard of beauty but, needless to say, they think, at the beginning, at it's temporal.Nobody sees non eating as a way of life and neither would they see homosexuality if it were completely voluntary.
