Sin of drug abuse? A pharmocopeia is a book describing drug preparations, their use and their potential side-effects. IIRC, it's usually a large book with a purple cover and you can find one in every pharmacy.
Ok, then if AIDS was a punishment from God for sex & drug abuse, why did'nt said punishmant arrive in, say 1900, where virtually all drugs, now considered illegal, were openly advertised by firms such as Bayer, & available for anyone to buy from the corner shop, in the form of patent medicenes...?
So you praise god for creating AIDS to kill gays and drug users? Couldn't omnipotent god simply have made these behaviors go away if they displeased him so much? I mean seriously, if your spouse starts drinking too much do you kill him or do you try and get him to go to an AA meeting?

By the way, AIDS isn't the judgment of God. It is caused by HIV. Viruses don't just pop up out of nowhere. If two gay people decide to get it on, and neither of them have HIV, then they have a 0% chance of contracting it.
