Another thing that bothers me about abortion is most of the time (actually, all of the time) it is done for selfish reasons. For instance...

"Oh, I can't have this baby, even though we had sex and it's really our fault there's a baby there in the first place. Maybe I should just go get an abortion because it will screw up my life. What about my career?"

"Yeah I don't want this baby because pregnancy is uncomfortable."

"I don't want to keep my baby because I don't have the money to take care of another child."

These are all selfish reasons. Even the third one, because there is nothing wrong with adoption. In all of the above cases, they aren't doing what's best for someone else, they think that they are doing what is best for themselves. And the Bible clearly says that is wrong.

"Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others" (1 Cor. 10:24).
