So...can I blame God for my father's death after a long, slow illness? Does this mean I can blame Him for having to call an ambulance to take my mother to the hospital this afternoon because she was having chest pains?

Cripes. I just listened to/watched a couple of VenomFangX's videos, and all I heard was:
"God. Logical fallacy logical fallacy, logic fallacy God! Strawman, strawman strawman strawman, logical fallacy God logical fallacy strawman!"
I sifted through all the comments on that video and there were no dissenting remarks......I guess deleting the comments of anyone that disagrees with him is in keeping with the dishonesty of the entire video.

Then why does "God" cure cancer or prevent people from getting seriously hurt in car accidents - "He's" the one that gave the illness/injury in the first place!
Fact is, all those other things cure without divine intervention but humans don't regenerate limbs so it never happens. It's not that "God" is a dick, it's that he's a man-made invention.
I agree that VenomFangX is a very nasty piece of work but the quote does have a certain internal logic.
I mean, why should God allow people into Heaven? He's the one who condemned you to to Hell in the first place!
I've come across his video's before. To see a rebuttal and actually a complete disintegration of fundie comments about evolution, creationism, philosophy etc find video's by a guy called 'Thunderf00t' on youtube. His video's 'Why do people laugh at creationists' are excellent.

I have an alternative explanation: He doesn't exist.
Yet, you're the same people who say that you are alive because god's hand saved you. In an accident that almost happened but didn't. In a disease being cured. Whatever; you say god does it.
So, if he does - if he interferes in your life to keep you alive and happy and healthy - why would he interfere in a life and make an amputee happy?
