The GOP has long been infiltrated with Dem and Communist moles.
Who knows, some have even been creditably accused as homosexuals (Larry Craig) or ephebophiles (Denny Hastert, Mark Foloey).

Never mind that originally the GOP was the one progressive on social rights and that the Dems were the ones dialing back on them. Never mind that the Original badge of conservatives absolutely loathed homophobic Christians (One of Barry Goldwater's famous quotes is: "You don't have to be straight to be in the military. You just have to be able to shoot straight"). I could go on, but you get by now that they're so moronic that only the Constitution Party is good enough for them.
You know the Log Cabin Republicans are some of the most hard core, loyal and delusional conservatives out there.
Oh and I can name one Dem mole in the GOP. Donald Trump. He is a well known democrat.
Because a True Republican never does anything bad. If he does, he was never a True Republican.
Does this make Ray Moore a True Republican or not?

And I will never understand their thought processes. "I disagree with my political party's agenda to ban me from marrying the person I want, to keep me from being able to adopt children, to ban me from serving in the military, to defund all AIDS research because it's a "gay disease," to force me back into the closet, to label me a second class citizen, and their stance that I'm an evil sinner destined for Hell, but I like their stance on tax cuts."
I love how people on the far-right pretend there's some sort of leftist pressure on the GOP. The Dems, center-right as they've become, can't even manage to get the GOP to relent on the simplest issue these days, and leftist groups wouldn't touch the Republican Party with a ten-foot pole. Meanwhile all manners of conservative interest groups hold immense sway in Democratic politics. But yeah, I do think a leftist infiltration of the GOP is in order. If conservatives can guide the Dems to the right from the inside, progressives can sure yank the GOP a few notches to the left from the inside.
@Doubting Thomas
Roy Moore was a Democrat, believe it or not, until 1992 when he became a circuit court judge. And I've seen conservatives take the "he was a Democrat when he diddled kids, but he somehow became a Good Christian Man(TM) when he switched party!" line of thinking before, so I wouldn't put it past OP to think that.
@KingOfRhye
What does the first sentence have to do with the second?
True Republicans are such fine, moral people they're way beyond reproach, so if a Republican gets caught in a sex scandal they were never a True Republican and had to have been a Democrat in disguise. Because all Democrats are immoral, evil people.
Confused?
