[This article seems to about Christian faith, so it should be moved there. It is not really an article about religious faith in general. ]
Faith is a Christian concept, and "Christian faith" is a silly redundancy. It would be like saying "Christian Easter."

yeah; christian easter, as opposed to the original, pagan one.
anyway, this is from the moron who thinks Christians invented humor. I wouldn't be surprised he thought they invented the wheel, too.
"Faith is a Christian concept"
The Jews, with whom Jesus and the Old Testament originate, would like a word with you.
So I guess the billions of non-Christian theists in the world are just devoting themselves to a hobby?
And "Christian Easter" is an oxymoron, since Easter is a holiday stolen from the pagans.
I'll let this one go, now I can bludgeon morons with this who claim atheism is a faith, but it can't be if faith is a Xian concept. Internal consistancy, my dear laymen.
*sigh* - Andy you are such a fucking airhead.
Eastor is named after the Goddes "Eoster". You ACTUALLY think Easter is an original, Christian idea?
lmfao - omfg -!!!1!!1!!!!1! what a dumfuk you are
That is like saying "christian asshattery" and "Christian asshattery" would be redundant, well, because everyone knows that most christians are asshats. But christians do not corner the market on asshattery, because not all asshats are christians even though at times it SURE does feel like it.
Wow, does any of this make sense? Lol I guess I should comment when I'm a bit more sober. ^_^;; But after silly comments like these...
BWA HA HA!
Easter's pagan in origin. Very much pagan in origin. Those colourful eggs? Fertility symbols. Same with rabbits, chickens and lambs.
Faith has also been around pretty well ever since our ancestors developed the ability to think in abstract terms and can applied to secular concepts.
Andy reminds me of the Arte Johnson character on Laugh In, the one who wore a yellow raincoat and rode a child's tricycle. He'd be tooling along and just fall over on his face.
Andy should probably wear a helmet at all times, including sleep hours.
Actually, since my family has a perfectly secular Easter each year, "Christian Easter" sounds like a perfectly reasonable distinction to make!
Also, Andy is a dumbass as usual. I'm pretty sure the word "faith" has been around long before Christianity. It's not even always a religious concept. (E.g: "I have faith in my child's ability to do well in school.")
Edit: And of course Easter was originally Pagan. Durr. Totally slipped my mind when I posted this.
So all sincere Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Pagans, Zoroastrians, Baha'i, Rastafarians, Shinto, etc. are also Christian?
I smell bullshit.
Andy, every time I read something you write, I think "Well, on the brightside, he can't get any more stupid." I hate being wrong.
It's not that these people are stupid. Lets face it, we've all come across stupid people.
It's that they are so fucking bat shit stupid as to almost defy belief.
It is scary that this fucking idiot has qualifications from America's premier university. What the fuck is going on with your education system.
If belief is a Christian concept what the fuck is the bloke down my road at the local mosque shouting about five times a day.
Re: mintywolf's post
Personally, mintywolf, I prefer to store all the stupid I encounter, until either the 5th of November, or the 1st of May, and then have a really big bonfire on those dates...

Eostre is a pagan celebration. As is Christmas (Saturnalia; Winter Solstice). Ergo, Andy Schaftafly:
