This is why we should declare war with mexico.
Notice how ONLY the liberals are opposed to dropping bombs on mexico. This is liberalism at it's finest. We should nuke the shit out of every greasy tortilla faced beaner in mexico. Mexico is the scum of the earth and the source of all illegal immegrants and drugs.

... this is a bad thing for liberals how?
Mexico is the scum of the earth and the source of all illegal immegrants and drugs.
ALL of them?
First of all: all the meth you obviously take is home grown in hillbilly meth labs around the country.
Secondly: Mexico is our largest ally. We've had friendly relations with that country for longer than any of the countries currently in continental Europe have existed.
@ Frank:
Canada is the US's largest ally and trading partner. To quote the US Department of Commerce:
The Canada-U.S. trade relationship is the largest ever to exist between two nations. Two-way trade in goods and services between Canada and the United States during 2000 was estimated at approximately C$700 billion, or almost C$2.0 billion per day. Of Canada's 2000 imports, 74 percent came from the U.S., while 86 percent of Canada's total exports were shipped to the United States. The volume of Canada-U.S. trade last year was far greater than the total amount of Canada's trade with all of its other trading partners combined.
Furthermore, as to your claim that the US and Mexico have been friendly since before any Continental European nation existed, Switzerland has been a functioning democracy for over 500 years, longer than the US has been around.
Um, Frank, you've had three wars with Mexico in the last 150 years. Way to be friendly, dude.
First of all, the US-Mexican War ended just over 160 years ago, so the US and Mexico have only gone to war twice in the last 150 years. Secondly, so what? France's largest ally is Deutschland - and I shouldn't have to remind you that the people from those countries have histories of fighting each other. Estados Unidos Mexicanos didn't even come into existence until 1917, and since their government stopped being changed by assassination the United States and Mexico have been allies continuously. Mexico and the United States have been on friendly terms since longer than there has been a BRD.
The US has been in military alliance with Mexico since 1923. The only countries in continental Europe that existed in 1923 that still exist today are Sweden, Finland and Switzerland. And considering that those countries all massively overhauled their constitutions several times, their contiguity is questionable.
France has not been a country for as long as the United States has been an ally of Mexico. Going to war with Mexico is crazy talk. It's more unthinkable than France going to war with España.

1) Why should we bomb thousands upon thousands of innocent people?
2) So the Cuban illegals come from Mexico now?
3) Honestly I haven't been following the 'war on drugs' too closely, but between what people make here and numerous people from other countries making/smuggling stuff (Colombia, anyone?) I seriously doubt it all comes from Mexico.
Frank, whatabout the Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Spain, Luxemburg, Belgium etc. Those weren't around either? And France not a country in 1923? Are you some kind of poe?
@Phedipeddes
France really stopped being independent for a good few years in the 1940s due to Vichy France being a puppet government. Its only the UK that went through it relatively unscathed and even then there is the whole loss of Ireland and its colonies. Most countries in europe went through a whole bunch of changes.
More a case of the USA being all the way over there rather than on the front lines of all the fighting.
OK, fess up: who's the Stormfront troll who gave this less than 5?
@ Frank: Three counter-examples: Spain, Portugal and Switzerland are all continental European countries, and all have existed (continuously) for at least 400 years.
@Matt,
Not 400. You're forgetting about the Napoleonic Wars. All 3 of those countries were ruled by Napoleon.
And I think what Frank is talking about are contiguous governments. Both Portugal and Spain have relatively new regimes that arouse after decades of fascist dictatorships.
But he's wrong about Switzerland, since its government is pretty much the same as it was in the 1920s (different laws of course but same structure). Of course as a neutral country Switzerland isn't really anybody's ally.
As for Finland, it's borders were altered during a side war with the Soviet Union during WWII. It managed to survive, but it did lose territory.
Another country that is the same as it was in 1923, San Marino. For some reason fascist Italy just left that tiny country alone. Liechtenstein was also left alone. And then there's Andorra.
Portugal's Carnation Revolution was in 1974. There are people alive today who remember the new country being formed.
I don't entirely think that San Marino counts as a country. It doesn't have its own foreign policy, for example. It was a vassal state of the Kingdom of Italy, now it's a vassal state of the Italian Republic.

Not around here. Most immigrants in this area are Brazilian, Haitian, Dominican, Central American, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Cambodian. I don't think any of the smack or blow on Boston's streets comes from Mexico, either.
Opposed to killing and maiming innocent people?
Opposed to destroying an entire nation and it's peoples, history and culture? Opposed to removing an entire economy and workforce, however weak, from the planet?
Opposed to unleashing enough radiation in the air to have a devastating impact on the entire planet for centuries to come?
Silly me, what was I thinking?
Oh, and try doing a little research, Asia is also a major source of drugs and illegal immigrants in this country. Guess I shouldn't say that or you'll want to bomb them next. And the biggest source of drugs is right here in the Midwest. You want to nuke Missouri too?
So....Csmbodian boat people and Chinese trafficking victims are really Mexicans in disguise! The dastards!
Also, those people telling you they can't nuke Mexico? They're not Liberals, they're sane .
Confused?
