(Discussing an article entitled "Packs of robots will hunt down uncooperative humans"):
It is eerie, but not surprising. We have everything from the government listening to phone calls to computers keying in on key words, I mean, robots chasing folks, of course it is going to happen. The AC will control us like we have never seen and in my opinion, BO (Barack Obama) and his administration will usher in the beginning of this.

Actually, it was the Republicans who were vying for this shit. They were the ones who passed the Patriot act. That's why I felt so relieved when we elected not only a Democrat president, but a democrat congress.
@Paschal Wagner
We can still dream...
"That terminator is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead."
I'm sorry, but someone already wrote that story.
I, for one, welcome our new robotic overlords.
(What? Somebody had to say it.)
If robots chases humanflesh, I am moving onto an island. Maybe Iceland, Fundies don't believe in it, and robots can't swin
From what I've heard, defense contractors over there (in the US) have been developing unmanned military vehicles, with some level of autonomy, so the robots bit isn't completely nuts. All that stuff about listening to phonecalls/searching for keywords entered online has been happening for a while too.
Now, I'm wondering...Were these people bitching about all this stuff while GWB was doing it too? Or have they just decided that, now that the guy in charge is changing to someone they don't like that it's all of a sudden, bad?
[We have everything from the government listening to phone calls to computers keying in on key words...]
Because of the PATRIOT ACT.
[I mean, robots chasing folks, of course it is going to happen.]
Say what?
[The AC will control us like we have never seen...]
Aren't you supposed to be raptured before then?
[...and in my opinion, BO (Barack Obama) and his administration will usher in the beginning of this.]
Based on what?
"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists authority resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgement. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you wish to have no fear of the authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive its approval; for it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do what is wrong, you should be afraid, for the authority does not bear the sword in vain! It is the servant of God to execute wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be subject, not only because of wrath but also because of conscience. For the same reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, busy with this very thing. Pay to all what is due to themtaxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honour to whom honour is due."
Paul's letter to the Romans, chapter 13, verses 1 - 7.
Deal with it.

(okay, so I couldn't find a screenshot of Miles Dyson's prototype neural net processor from "Terminator II", and had to use a pic of IBM & the University of Georgia's .5 THz CPU, but go along with me here. Maybe I should have used the Quantum Processor in 'EDI' from "Stealth"?)
*- Whatever that OS is you're using, better uninstall it. Bill Gates is an Atheist. So is Steve Jobs. So are much of the Linux development team. Short of inventing your own OS, you're pretty much screwed.
Someone watched The Matrix a few too many times. I mean, I like it too, but damn, brethorn, chill out. Maybe don't take shrooms when you watch it?
Edit- FundieFinder, CTSTDT stands for "Conspiracy Theorists Say The Darndest Things". It's another section of this website.
Actually we are currently working on hunter killer drones, however they are currently controlled directly by humans.
Once we have perfected our "Fundamentalist Wacko" detector chip, we shall solve the Earth's problems.
Re: cyvr's post
Try G.Montag instead if you wish to do your proposed action, (although personally I disagree with it), cyvr, as I suspect that they've never heard of a certain book titled Farenheit 451, which as I recall, has a certain Mechanical Hound, which tries & fails to kill our hero, Guy Montag...
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
