Murder and genocide is the elimination of innocent individuals. The ppl. of the flood were not innocent. They were wicked individuals who didn't deserve to keep on living. The world is made for ppl. who act righteously. If it happens that the vast majority of ppl. have forsaken this responsibility then the world no longer needs them. The world is precisely for ppl. who act appropriately and if that means most ppl. have to be killed off since they don't fulfill the world's purpose and only a few remain, so be it.

There's that whole "Christian love" thing again.
Oh, and for the record:
Gen o cide: noun
the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group.
Stop redefining words so that they suit you better!
ALL of them deserved to die? Even the children? And the the animals (most of which ALSO died)
Yeah, however you try to justify it, your god is still an asshole.
Whether the "ppl" were innocent or not has nothing to do with it. Genocide is extermination of a group just because of who and what they are as a people. And Noah and his family show that they were hardly "innocent" types themselves, by the way.
The Fundie Word Redefinition Project continues apace -- not to mention the Fundie Wrd Rspllng Prjct.

Remember guys, according to Christian Dogma we're all sinners. No exceptions, we all deserve eternal torture in a a lake of fire. We all deserve to die in a flood.
Jesus loves you! (like an abusive husband)
Come on; you can spell "genocide," "elimination," "individuals," "righteously," "majoirty," "forsaken," "responsibility," and "appropriately"... but not "people"??
What about the babies?
They had free will [according to you] and a chance to grow up to be good, God-fearing people.
If not for that God drowned them. WHOOPS.
What about all the little babies that were still in the womb when their mothers were being drowned? And all the young children? Are you saying they deserved to die too?
I should warn you that if you say 'yes' then you make a nonsense of all anti-abortion campaigns.
No matter how you slice it not only is the flood inevitably going to be killing innocents. Beyond that killing everyone but one family is gods way of forcing incest. That's one of my biggest peeves with the flood story, and creation for that matter.
Also, "ppl" is not a valid abbreviation.
Murder and genocide is the elimination of innocent individuals. The ppl. of the flood were not innocent. They were wicked individuals who didn't deserve to keep on living. The world is made for ppl. who act righteously.
That's as maybe, but what about people who are neither entirely wicked nor entirely righteous? (i.e. practically the entirety of humanity)
{b] "Murder and genocide is the elimination of innocent individuals. The ppl. of the flood were not innocent"
And, according to your Bible, no one is innocent, therefore there is no murder or genocide. Kill people to your heart's content! The Bible and that random guy babbling about the flood told me it is okay!
"What about all the little babies that were still in the womb when their mothers were being drowned? And all the young children? Are you saying they deserved to die too?

Ooooh, SNAP. PWNED.
The babies, the children, the elderly, the crippled, the weak, and the meek. They all deserved to die.
