Romans 9? You mean this bit?:
9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
9:22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
9:23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
I'll tell you what I see here...
Romans 9:20--It is explained to us that it is the height of presumption to question Jehovah on any matter. This includes any inquiries as to what our purpose in life might be.
Romans 9:21--It is intimated by the author that Jehovah has complete control over our destinies. Apparently some Humans are groomed to accept Jehovah's gift of Christ's sacrifice and some Humans are groomed to reject that gift and suffer their way through their lives.
Romans 9:22-23--The author makes vague statements which boil down to "God could snuff your ass anytime, anywhere; so watch yourself."
Given Jehovah's track record in the realm of respecting Human life I'd hazard a guess that He might get a taste of that Lake of Fire Himself. I really have to say I'm not impressed with Jehovah's standards as to what constitutes a "Lake of Fire offence". Everything I've seen and heard from you fundies indicates that the principle Human crime, most deserving of eternal punishment, is that of being born. Our mere existence is apparently enough to enrage Jehovah.
