All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Babies are born guilty, however, God understands this. It's called the age of accountability. Even though those babies were killed, it was the most merciful thing that could have been done, for they would have no doubt grown up to become the very same guilty adults that their fathers were. Instead, even though they died, we (Christians) will see them in heaven.

Normal people call it fucking sick. However, you brainwashed religious idiots may ascribe some ad hoc "age of accountability" bullshit to it. As far as I'm aware, that whole age of accountability thing isn't actually in your Babble.

Let me get this straight, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" and "Babies are born guilty..." and then "Even though those babies were killed, it was the most merciful thing that could have been done, for they would have no doubt grown up to become the very same guilty adults that their fathers were" but abortion is a bad, bad, evil, vile and sinful thing. You people are screwy. Then again, it fits perfectly with the rest of your theology.

But I hope you understand that, even acording to your own fundie logic you sound somehow strange.
You fundies constantly claim that noone who has sinned can get to heaven, unless he accepts Jesus as savior. And you normally speak of this as if it were some kind of natural law.

But nevertheless you claim that babies, although neither being free from sin, nor accepting Jesus as their savior directly ascend to heaven.
So, if god, as your posting suggests, can delkiberately bend these rules as he sees fit, what keeps him from issuing some general amnesty, letting people of every religion ascend to heaven, no matter wether they accept Jesus as their savior or not. Everything in your posting suggests that he could do it. And you always claim that your god is a loving god, and that he only sacrificed his son for us, so such a general amnesty would be in gods interest as it would mean that all humans were saved, not only a small minority.

I'm pretty sure that most sects of Christianity don't see themselves as the "one true" so much as the "most exemplary". I don't think you'll, say, find Methodists regarding Presbyterians or Baptists as doomed to Sheol for non-Methodism. And if the Vatican can regard Jews as saved, whether or not they specifically swear fealty to the Christ (without swearing fealty to the...I think we just found another reason why the Dispensationalists have it in for Catholicism...)...I'll trust you can extrapolate from there.

By the way...My translation of that phrase of Paul's goes "For all have sinned, and do need the glory of God.". Granted, that could be "need" as in "lack", but perhaps the point really was not so much unworthiness as incompleteness. The idea was not to excoriate humanity, but to explain what medicine/component/etc. was needed to achieve the completeness they were yearning for. (i.e. All humanity, whether Gentile or Jew, is in the same quandary of spiritual dissonance, and God is offering a way to disrupt that dissonance.)
