Whoever picks out these quotes really should be patient enough to read through the thread. If they had, they would have seen that DontKidYourself retracted this statement.
Also, I wonder why DontKidYourself's previous quote is being held up as something to get all riled up about and not this one posted before his or her comment:

I'm not a christian by any means, but I do like some of the stuff about forgiveness supposedly said by Jesus. DontKidYourself said something vile and stupid but subsequently retracted it. I'm willing to forgive a momentary lapse of judgement and good taste, and I don't see any reason for beating him up over it while giving a free pass to another vile and stupid rape statement made a day earlier by someone else.
@ Jezebel - well, rape apologetics are pretty hard to forgive. You have to understand how some people can't be as magnanimous about it. I agree about the free pass for the other comment - it was horrible, and should have been retracted too.

Yes I agree it was a horrible thing to say and that is why I retracted it. I deserve all the criticism that comes with the decision I made, and I ask nobodys forgiveness. Okay, so Don'tKidYourself retracted and apologized. However, being a rape victim, it still hurt to see that comment had made the page. Rape is not sexual. It is power of a man over a woman. It is force, hatred, and pain. The pain never goes away, no matter how many years past.
However, whereas, I understand your drunkness post, I can't not give any credence to Dragon Keal. That is just nasty and sick. You make us other dragons look bad. That is just not right.
What point would you be making? Would you be making the point that you are a vicious asshole? I could see you substantiating that point if that was your intention.
There are lot of people in the world who suffer at the hands of rapists that are trying to "Make a point".
In warfare, it is often used to terrorize and dehumanize the other side. If you think it's ok to rape IFBaptistgirl because she's a misguided fool, is ok to rape you because you are an insensitive jerk, just to "make a point"?
How would you feel about that?
Statistics indicate that there are almost certainly people on this forum who have been raped at some point, and you are spitting in their faces too. Is it ok because someone thought they were "proving something to them", or showing them their place, or justifying it because they thought they "deserved" it for some reason or another?
You should think about what you are saying and REALLY reconsider it. If you don't I don't know that anything you say from here on out would have any value here...

Okay people, I think your point has been made. It was a post made in very bad taste. What do you eant to do, burn him at the stake? No? How about hanging by the neck until dead? Not bad enough? Skin him alive under a dripping salt lick? I don't like the thought of advocating rape either but at least I think I understand the point of the post. Some of the horrors perpetrated upon humanity in the name of fundementalist religion are worse that anything I can imagine (rape included). Being tortured and having full knowledge that you are going to die slowly in absolute agony as your body is torn apart is one of the crimes I can think of. Just my 2 cents.
Rape ifbaptistgirl?, that's cruel. She may be a misguided poor 16 years old girl, but precisely for that, you can't say such hard things on her. Just show her the faults of her reasoning.
I'm glad to hear that the comment was retracted. But, such vile comments is still something of which we, as anti-fundamentalists, should be aware. In the defense of rationality and free thought, maintaining our humanity is crucial. By losing it, we ourselves become unthinking individuals who make our judgments based solely on emotion.
We become what we are against.
