About to umpire a ball game, Jeff Sessions learns his niece is playing.
Niece (presumably): (thinks) This guy would recuse himself from calling the fire department.
Sessions: RECUSE, RECUSE!

Jeff Sessions Recuses Himself . What Does Recuse Mean?
Well, looking at your... 'Laugh', Inigo Montoya would say '"Recuse". You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.'
Because when Jeffers has no need of others to 'Recuse' him, it's no ex cuse for this pathetic attempt at a political 'cartoon', Dick Willy.
A relative of mine is a Sunday League referee. His son plays for a team; he has officiated at games featuring said team his son plays in.
He enforces the rules of the game of Association Football.
Your 'metaphor' was batted a foul there, Dick. You know you - and your 'Emprah' - are going to be struck out in just three months, to use the baseball metaphor.
This is because Sessions really does have a major conflicts of interest in the Trump investigation. I don't know if it's because he truly cares about justice, despite his ideal of it being tainted by his bigotry... or if he's seen the writing on the wall and is smart enough to keep his head down. Faint praise either way, because he's still a very not-nice person, but compared to the shitshow that is most of the Trump administration? He's just ordinary, banal evil, not a cartoon villain on crack. It's no wonder that Trump fans aren't fond of him.
This would actually be a totally acceptable reason to get someone else to umpire the game. People need to trust that fair adjudication is happening, and giving them reason to distrust that is a bad thing.
But that's an actual principle, something Li'l Mick doesn't comprehend.
So, you're saying you have no problem if those with authority have clear conflicts of interest?
I would prefer my government officials be held to a higher standard than that.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
