The democrats came for the Socialists, and brought them into the fold. I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
The democrats came for the Trade Unionists, and brought them under their wing and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, the Jews went willing and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and only Trump spoke up for me.

...meanwhile, despite Joseph McCarthy's bluff, bluster & bullshit, the Communist Party of USA still exists to this day.
Not even the Republican Party spoke for him , when it all blew up in his face.
Quite the echo-chamber you Donald Fart cocksuckers have. But then, you gargle each others' dicks while Wiggy speaks, eh?
Farty-boy's 'speaking' will only be to the Democrats' advantage.
So, everyone else in the world is either a Socialist, a Trade Unionist or a Jew?
Are you a compulsive and constant liar? You must be, if Trump is speaking for you.
does phma realize, the groups supposed to be marginalized or oppressed, for that quote to make sense?
by the current writing, it means the democrats come to bring you under their wings and represent your special interests. in other words, the democrats want to speak for you.
I'm sure Father Niemoller is spinning in his grave over the number of times that fascist wannabes have adopted his poem. Especially ones who hate communists/socialists, trade unionists, and Jews.
As for you teabagger Republicans, if you think Trump is the great white hope, I hope you realize that nobody can win an election on the white conservative Christian male vote alone. Scoffing at "political correctness" while spewing hatred is not going to win you enough votes. Seems Republicans haven't learned from the 2012 election.
Let's be clear here...
The original version of this was about Nazis oppressing and murdering people. phma is using a version of the same words to complain that these groups might generally tend to agree with the Democrats. And phma is acting as if that's equivalent. Agreeing on certain issues, feeling represented by a certain party, is like being oppressed and murdered by Nazis. And your savior from the terrible fate of agreeing with someone/being agreed with (which is apparently equivalent to being oppressed and murdered by Nazis) is Donald Trump.
Is there any real internal logic there? Does it make any kind of sense? Does anyone else just feel really, really tired by all this?
Democrats: "Hey man you wanna join our cool club with free healthcare and more human rights?"
phma: "Ew, you have all those people who are different than me. Fuck no."
... only Trump spoke up for me.
Yeah, he's good at speaking up. He's about as entertaining as the Kardashians, and his blithering is about as useful. Mad Magazine coined the great expression, "Trumpificating".
@Aunty-FSTDT
McCarthy ended up a booze-pickled irrelevance, after even his own party regarded him as one would upon discovering a skidmark on a hotel towel: and dropped just as quickly.
When his own BS ultimately blew up in his own face. Ah, Hubris. Such as cruel bitch you are.
The butthurt of the right-wing in the US. So much like the First Order in "Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens", with their pathetic attempt to fill the vacuum left by the destroyed Empire after the Rebellion re-establishes the Republic.
Donald Fart = Kylo Ren. The Farce is with him.
Trump hates, in no particular order, women, minorities, gays, the poor, foreigners, and pretty much everyone who isn't him. What kind of slimy vermin do you have to be to think Trump speaks for you?
Confused?
