How?, by having one of the best social security system in the world?, by having the highest heigth ratio by this?. Besides, are you telling me that the two civilisations who shaped your culture were a failure?. As far as I'm concerned, if there are lynching mobs, the onus falls ENTIRELY on the mobs. It´s like saying "don't allow people live in houses, they will be bulglarised".

I don't recall the exact reason the Greek empire fell, but I know for a fact that the Roman Empire's fall had nothing to do with homosexuality.

Agreed to the above. We need to get rid of the state church IMHO, but that's about it. Not all that much can be done about the cold anyways. I strongly suspect that our dear bigot here doesn't know Scandinavia is actually three countries (or four? People count that differently, I think,) none of which are actually promoting same-sex marriage to any degree, although there is a rising acceptance of the idea.
This guy has never been to Scandinavia, has he? Last time I checked, Finland, Sweden and Norway still have some of the highest standards of living in the developed world. Also, I had no idea homosexuality destroyed Greece and Rome. I thought it was those darn Barbarians from the north who were to blame.

I don't follow you; by legalizing homosexuality we get discrimination, but by not legalizing it we don't discriminate?
