Also note that in some of the epistles, there are aspects that are more to do with the culture of the day than to do with Christianity, as they were letters to people back then.
For example, In 1 Corinthians, Paul writes about women wearing Head Garments as a sign of subjection to men, but in modern culture, a wedding ring is a sign of this.
