I agree that if you have a 6 year old that thinks they are gay... then the police need to be notified... because you have a pediphile in the family. There is only way way to know if a child is gay. So while the Child is still a child... what values will you teach them? Children learn by example... and if the example is that men are sperm donars and fathers are worthless.. then the female has a much greater chance of treating men WHEN THEY GET OLDER as such... and the male has a greater chance of having NO RESPECT for women. Which FYI is EXACTLY why divorce is so high today. We are failing our children... and raising them that failure is ok and that failure should be embraced.

I'm going to agree, and if this Dhoppe (is it pronounced "Dope?") had just left it at that, then s/he wouldn't have ended up here. As it is, though, while this post starts off on a somewhat reasonable note, it quickly takes a sharp turn into Left Field and never recovers.

I can't parse this. Did you mean "one way" instead of "way way?" Even then, you're wrong; you can't tell if a child is gay. You have to wait until puberty. After all, I learned what homosexuality was before I learned for sure that I was heterosexual.

Yes, a female child raised by a single mother who was abandoned by her husband may learn from her mother to think men are worthless. You've switched topics pretty fast, though. The start of your post was about homosexuality.

You've said so much on so many topics; which was the cause for divorce? I thought that people divorce because they don't want to stay married. Divorce is "high," you say, but what does that mean? It's higher than before, yes, but this is only because women are now allowed to divorce and are not forced (legally or financially) to remain married to men that they hate.

I'd say that you are. Most fundies fail their kids. Maybe you should consider birth control; it's easier to take care of your kids if you don't have 15 of them. Of course, if you teach your kids that atheists or gays are bad, you'll fail them for sure.

So, let´s say that a 6 years old boy, WHO IS UNABLE TO KEEP EVEN A HETEROSEXUAL RELATIONSHIP, should be put in jail, violating all possible jurisprudence for something that is no longer a crime. I love the way this fundies reason.
Matilde, I think that Minstrel Boy had the right interpretation a few comments up -- that the poster thinks the child would have to have been molested by a family member, and that's who the cops should be called in to find.
