The more you think about it, the more obvious it is that the Bible popped up before democracy and rights, and during the time of wars, slaughter and Kings.
You are a part of "society as a whole". Do you have anything positive to contribute, or are you going to waste this life hating people who do no harm to you? If god existed, I don't imagine that would be on the plus side of his little score chart with your name at the top.
Edit to add: What does society suffer if elderly (post-menopausal) people marry, or barren people marry, or fertile people choose not to have children? In two of those categories, the people are simply not going to have children anyway, and their marital status is completely irrelevant. In the third, they make a decision not to have children for reasons of their own, and it is neither your business nor mine what they decide.

Read your bible. If that was meant to be a punishment for incest God wouldn't have blessed her with a child later. Must have stopped reading before Issac was born.
So explain the thousands, if not millions, of people who are infertile & never engaged in incest.
And why/how are elderly marriages "abnormal" or "foolish"? That doesn't parse.
