For that matter, define "religious" and "religion".

If opposing the "pushing of ones religion on others" includes silencing the unending harangues, hammering, and ubiquitous propaganda of gay "rights" activists, global warming alarmists, tree huggers, vegans, radical feminists, "diversity" mongers, pc nazis, rabbid secularists, Socialists, and advocates of nationalized health care, then I'm all for it.

Attempts to legislate your religion into law. Attempts to teach your religious dogma as actual fact in classrooms. Knocking on my door at 7 A.M. on a Sunday to tell me I'm going to Hell if I don't believe exactly what you do. Sending missionaries under the guise of humanitarian aid who give said aid only if those who need it accept your religion first. Forceful conversion of indigenous populations. Being a general nuisance to anyone who doesn't happen to believe your bullshit by not taking a simple "no" for an answer when you lunatics are passing out your tracts.

None of those fall under the category of religion. Not only that, nobody mentioned anything about "silencing" anyone. You were asked if you think it's right for the religious to push their religion on others.

It's an interesting little fantasy you have though. Perhaps you should visit your local university and see if there are any psychology students in need of a subject for their doctoral thesis. I'm sure they'd find you fascinating.

You fucking know what those words mean if you've had so much as a first grade education and your sophistry is not clever.

First off, none of those things you mentioned are religions, so I guess you really DON'T know what a religion is. Second, silencing everyone you disagree with is a form of pushing your religion on others. Third, what the hell is wrong with vegans? Actually, none of those things you mentioned are bad things but we all know fundies tend to be pro-pollution, deny-rights-to-everyone-but-themselves assholes who are too obsessed with everyone else's sex life but not you jerks want to control everyone's diet? WTF? Where does it end? Will you jackasses not be happy until you're controlling every action taken by every person on Earth like they're all your personal automatons?

I will just go down the list.

1. Gays by virtue of our constitution must have the same "rights" as straight people, go fuck yourself.

2. Global Warming is a scientific fact, go fuck your mother.

3. If it was not for trees you would not be alive to post this, so please stop breathing, or show some respect to the ONLY environment we have to live with.

4. Vegans, specifically PETA can sometimes be annoying yes. But I would rather deal with a fundie vegan then a fundie x-tain.

All of which either affects my lifestyle, sexuality, personal situation in no way, shape or form, or improves certain elements of such.

On the other hand, if militant Atheists were to continually knock on your door, harangue you in the street etc and force you to accept that a 'God' doesn' exist, and that you must read "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins and accept what it says as fact or else something unimaginably nasty would happen to you, you wouldn't like it, would you?
