Some of us think the world is quite nice. I never understood the general thought of most religious people that life is some sort of race to finish as quickly as possible. The equivalent would be sprinting through the Louvre or not sitting on the parapet of the Taj Mahal with your better half.

As for feminism, I am familiar with "militant" feminism which is basically man hating. There are few out there who think that equality means preferential treatment. However there is a real feminist movement to get people to treat women as equals rather than as servants. And that I am in favour of.

As for child support. There is a reason why we have child support. Because a lot of men are TOTAL DICKS who refuse to take responsibility for any of their actions. Plus there are women who pay child support as well. However this is one of the few places where sexism weighs in favour of women. I would like a more objective view taken.

Looking at the way men have suppressed women since the dawn of humans, you might believe that men are scared of women, and feel the need to keep them in check, to not be outrun and outsmarted by them. Ho hum...

If women can't have abortions, then men can't get out of child support. If you have the sex, you have to take care of the possible offspring.

Jesus seems to be tardy, honey. Nigh-on ten years ago, and not a sign of any Jesus, nor any Armageddon.
But, on the bright side; your kids ought to be grown-up now (or nearly so), so your "enslavement" in having to provide for them is over, or soon to be over.

Maybe you should have claimed custody for the kids. Then you'd be the one getting the child-support money! What's that? You don't want to do the job? Well, that's what you're paying someone else to do, dolt!

...and in all that time since this quote, nothing preventing you from being forced to pay that child support: with emphasis on the nothing. Should give you a clue as to why said 'Armageddon' hasn't happened. And never will.

The phrase 'Where is your God now?' exists for an extremely good reason.

Jonathan Edwards became an Atheist for far less than your problems: certainly no problems in his life before, when he was a devout born-again Christian, or since: from his presenting the 2012 London Paralympics for Channel 4 which made him the flawless personality he is today; presenting the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics for Eurosport, thus now go-to guy for sports presenting, no flies on him. Least of all personal problems-wise.

He no longer needs a 'God' to be a good person. Meanwhile, you being a deadbeat dad.

Thus for when a goddess invoked by a fictional character can have infinitely more influence than one you 'claim' exists, then ask yourself one simple question: Why is Jonathan Edwards so favoured when he recanted of his long-time faith: and you're not...?!
