Real Christians don't hate atheists. Atheists don't really hate anyone including Christians.
If anything, we do hate hatred and bigotry and willful stupidity. We do hate the torrent of lies and deceit used to try and prove the bible should taken literally just in case anyone says that tithes needn't be paid.

I looked up turture in the dictionary, and I can't seem to find it.
Christians certainly think lowly of themselves.
In other words, God loves us the same way an abusive husband loves his wife as he gives her two black eyes. Step out of line even a little and his followers pay in the most horrible way.
I fear my definition of 'love' is superior to that.

If an eternity of torture is what you deserve, wouldn't the responsible thing to do be to accept it? Instead you are opting out. Why? Do you not agree you deserve an eternity of torture after all?
If you had committed a crime, but the judge was your good friend, would you arrange things so that you would avoid the punishment?
