my point remains, "gay marriage" is primarily about exploiting marriage laws for financial benefit...assuming that we can reject the aspect of the homosexual agenda that calls for damaging traditional families.

"Proof" from Ann Coulter aside, there isn't a homosexual agenda. And as far as I can tell, gays aren't doing this to destroy traditional marriage, it's because they are regarded by too many to be second class citizens.
As far as I can tell, traditional marriage is falling apart without any help from the so-called "gay invasion". It's called good ol' fashioned selfishness. Something Christians of late have become very comfortable with.
God Bless!!!1!!one!!
If you hadn't insisted on sticking a religious concept into law and making marriage a legal institution rather than a solely religious one, it wouldn't matter. But once you cross the line into legal code, certain rules (equal rights, etc.) must be respected. Religion has no right to control the legal side of marriage, just as the law (with the exception of abusive practices) should have no right to control the religious side of it.
Listen up Mael- forget it Maels never listen, but I digress. Marriage is now, and has always, been a financial arrangement. [ The concept of marrying for love didn't enter into marriage until the late 18th early 19th century] Marriage is a civil institution in the U S hence the basic marriage ceremony has some variation of the line By the power vested in me by the State of (whatever)I pronounce you married. I'd say wife and wife but I presume Maels swoon at the sound of those words. BTW why do only straight people get copies of the Homosexual Agenda? Can I get a reprint? I'm a good dyke, I use duck tape, wear jeans and hiking boots, drive a Suburu, watch The L Word. So why can't I have a copy? Here's reality, divorce is damaging traditional families, not gay marriage,
Confused?
