I’m a non-religious theist who always treats others the way I want them to treat me. I look with pity upon those who profess to be atheists...they walk always in darkness.
If there wasn’t [Something], then how I ask can there be anything at all!? “Just give us one miracle and we will explain all the rest” say those who hold that the universe and ourselves amount to nothing but an accident.

What the ding-dong is a "non-religious theist"?
There are things for which science doesn't have an answer, yet. But I'm an atheist; I'm not afraid to say "I don't know", because an honest "I don't know" is more trustworthy than a specious "goddidit". I'm an atheist; I'm not afraid of the dark.
So, you're a theist because you cannot imagine anything existing unless it's an artifact of magic?
Fine, great.
But withold your pity for us atheists. Pity those who lack any imagination...
"Non-religious theist" probably means something along the lines of "I never go to church, but have a strong personal relationship with Jesus".
You know, maybe the reason why anything exists at all is because non-existence, in the purest sense of the term, is itself non-existent. Didja ever think of that?
...I was going to add an /s tag on the end, but now that I'm thinking about the implications of that, I'm not even sure anymore.
I’m a non-religious theist
And that's why we - who are certain - do what the religious theist Mr. T: a Christian , does with fools such as Bobinaloo.
Pity you.
Dr. Buzz Aldrin is certain about his theology too: as he's a Presbyterian. Yet, he's never doubted what fellow space scientists at NASA say about the Big Bang.
Moral: Reconciling one's certain beliefs with proven scientific fact. It's a thing.
As is the IRS, re. Tax Exemptions of religions .
Huh...
So a non-religious theist is basically agnostic: god is there, made the universe, but none of the religions get it right.
So basically...this is an agnostic fundie...which is impressive, in a “how the fuck did you do this” way
“I’m a non-religious theist who always treats others the way I want them to treat me.”
Suuuuuure you do.
“I look with pity upon those who profess to be atheists...they walk always in darkness.”
I dunno. Last week at the supermarket, someone in line was short $10. I gave them the money. Everyone else in lineinsisted theyw ere probably scamming me. I would be very surprised if any of those naysayers were not professing to be Christain. But these days, Christains are TERRIBLY worried the wrong people will get their money.
“If there wasn’t [Something], then how I ask can there be anything at all!?”
Just give me a reason to believe that anything at all requires ‘Something.’
“Just give us one miracle and we will explain all the rest” say those who hold that the universe and ourselves amount to nothing but an accident.”
No, we don’t need a miracle. You may not understand it, but that’s your problem, not ours.
Confused?
