Proverbs 11:24
“There is that scatters, and yet increases, and there is that withholds more than is meet, but it tends to poverty.”
Most things that are scattered don't increase. Try it with money sometime. Scatter it on the freeway and see what happens. It will disappear. However, there is a difference when the godly "scatter" their money--when they give it towards the Kingdom of God. It miraculously takes on the property of "seed."
When good seed is scattered on good soil, and it gets plenty of water, it grows and increases greatly. So be careful where your scatter the seed of your finances. Sow into good soil--ministries that fear God and whose agenda is the salvation of the lost...and thankfully, there are plenty like that.
