A lot of what drives views like LiveWithIt's view is the changing landscape of HIV that a lot of people are completely ignorant about: HIV isn't a death sentence anymore. Just take your drugs, and it'll never even START to bother the vast majority of people who get it.
Look at yourselves, wishing death on a guy because he's creating a very small harm.

I'm not sure what it's like in America, but the rest of the world isn't America. Some of these countries have very poor medical care. So to have people willingly be careless about it because in your little yard it doesn't cause that much damage is not only negligent, it is a slow but certain death sentence on all of the progress that's been made elsewhere.
Simply put: stop being short-sighted and selfish, and understand that you live in a world with other people.
He is creating what could be a very large harm indeed, a harm that is completely avoidable with proper information, just because he is both selfish and careless as well as being dangerous. And you're talking about ignorance, while your intention is to keep sexual partners ignorant of the most important fact. A real prince! Please die alone and unloved, both of you, or find each other and stay away from uninfected people.
Walking on the beach barefoot, or you trip & fall on a patch of long grass/into a bush, and you experience a sharp stinging pain in your foot/arm/hand.
Look at a used , bloody syringe sticking out of it.

A few days after my trip to visit my best friend in Surrey, I shall have a day out at, say, Bridlington or Scarborough. I usually have a walk on the beach. But I keep my shoes on.
Better to have just sand in your shoes - that can be removed easily, and with no harm involved, than having to remove a syringe from my bare foot.
A certain little prick can't bear that.

Next time I get a nasty superbug, instead of staying quarantined at my place for weeks on end, I'll just happily bound around infecting everyone with a potentially incurable condition. Why should I have to sit on my ass, alone for weeks, when I can just be an irresponsible dickhole?
And this shit with the HIV is orders of magnitude worse in some ways.
HIV is still a lifelong and incurable disease, that carries a death threat if you either can't afford the drugs, or can't get your hands on them.
Knowingly infecting someone with an incurable disease is a very, very great harm.
