The funny thing is, there is nothing new under the sun. Through centuries, 80% of the humankind is not Christian and some Christians like you have been thinking that Christ, a guy who said things like turn the cheek and so on is going to be a big version of you and kill everybody you detest. Also: Liberals (and by extension in the U.S: Democrats) have nothing to do with religious villification. One is a left wing set of ideologies, one is a religious issue. Also, historically it has been the right wing (almost exclusively) that attempts to mix politics and religion. Please, get your facts straight.

It's because you can't prove god exists and you can't prove he doesn't. Unless he decides to show up to everyone. You fundies are a bit of a graphic bunch, no? Lots of fantasies about the split blood of your enemies. Maybe that's why you represent such a higher percentage of people in prison than on the streets.

And exactly what is it that we have "failed" at? There is an ever growing number of non-believers, at least outside of Dumbfuckistan. Clearly, more and more people are seeing the absurdity of religion, let alone your particular fire-and-brimstone version thereof. Of course we have "failed" to prove that God doesn't exist, because it is by definition impossible, but the belief that he doesn't exist grows by the day.
