Islamic Sharia is extremely regressive but then it's quite common to think everyone you dislike is the same. (As long as you're a complete wanker, that is.)
Unlike conservatives who totally don't want to force women to not have abortions, don't want to force Christianity into government, don't want to decide which "shithole" countries to ban immigrants from, don't want to build more for-profit prisons, and don't want to take away all social programs to help people so they're totally dependent upon the generosity of business owners for whatever wages and benefits they get.
