“First off, God doesn't use magic, He does miricales. Our minds can't really understand that.”
So, if you don’t, if you CANNOT understand that, what’s the basis of claiming it’s NOT magic?
Magic: Using supernatural forces to influence events.
God: A supernatural being.
I’d define magic, personally, as using non-linear processes. I mean, it’s one thing to selectively breed goats to promote stripes that already occur in their DNA. It’s another to show them striped sticks while copulating, to produce striped kids.
“But, if you read the whole Bible, you will find that it has prophecies, yes?”
How is that evidence that it’s not magic?
Seeing the future would be a supernatural action, so, magic.
“Well, some of those prophecies has ALREADY come true.”
Meh…
“How can people believe that we evolved from... some goop or monkies. It just doesn't make any sence.”
From all the evidence for evolution. Any magic in the book does not make the evidence go away.
“If we came from monkies, then we would have proof already because then the monkies we have in captivity would turn into a human.”
Why?
What part of evolutionary theory tells you that all primates would evolve to match our evolution?
“It's just not right.”
Science doesn’t care about your fee-fees.
“In order to understand everything, you really need to read the whole thing to understand. Even go to a church if you're stuck.”
Been to church. Grew up in church. Had questions. Answers were not on offer.
