More wishful thinking and avoidance of the truth? My friend, either you've been sadly misled, or you are truly an uneducated simpleton, or you're being deliberately deceitful.
Of course, it's possible that you're a combination of two or three of the above. However, the sad fact for you is, that Muslim fundamentalists are probably nearly as frustrated as Christian fundamentalists by atheists. I say nearly as frustrated, because historically, Islam has shown a greater tolerance for others outside of their belief system than has Christianity.
The reason fundamentalists are frustrated is because they have yet to come up with anything convincing with which to convert atheists to their religious beliefs. Not to mention the hatred and bigotry that fundies display and that seems to be part and parcel of their loony faith and the generally odious and repellent nature of their outlook. I mean, who, for God's sake, would wish to be associated with that.
On top of all of the above, a further disincentive to atheists, is the fundie delight in stupidity. Fundies are opposed to education, knowledge, science, discovery, curiosity, are adept at historical revisionism, are prone to deception and lies, and practically worship gullibility and low self-esteem.
Atheists don't believe in gods or religions and no amount of shenanigans by you will alter that fact. The following truisms apply:-
There is no god and it definitely does not exist.
The bible contains errors and is inconsistent.
There is no heaven and there is no hell.
There are no angels, demons and devils or satan.
The bible is immoral and unethical.
The bible is no use as a guide to anything.
The bible is a XXX tome.
Religions are vast edifices of monstrous evil.
Prayers and praying are completely ineffectual.
Religions contain massive reserves of stupidity.
Religions are huge repositories of cant and dogma.
Religion and hypocrisy are forever hopelessly entwined.
Fundamental Christianity is not a lover of humanity and is inhumane.
Christian fundamentalists display a remarkable degree of hatred and bigotry that they are unconcerned about trying to hide.
Christian fundamentalists have no tolerance of others outside of their cults.
Christian fundamentalists have neither liking, nor, indeed, a penchant, for logic, common-sense or factual evidence.
The above is a short list, but gives some idea of what you as a Christian are up against. While it is conceivable, though extremely doubtful, that your wishful thinking may be true with regard to Muslims. it is defying probability with respect to Christianity, to such a degree, as to be completely laughable.
