First, I doubt there are that many scientists involved in evolutionary theory in the world, much less in the U.S. alone. Source please?
Second, what is this about adding "information" to an organism? What? Do you not understand the theory of evolution? Evolution takes millennia, and evidence of that is right there in the fossil record. You can't recreate that in a lab. Can YOU recreate the Creation from Genesis in a laboratory? Didn't think so.
Third, creationism is based on what some dude, who probably thought the world was flat, wrote thousands of years ago. That does not equal "science-based".
For the record, scientific research requires a theory, evidence proving it, and then a general consensus as to its worth. You have the first, a lot of bullshit for the second and absolutely none at all for the third. No other industrialized country in the world believes in creationism the way US people do. And the people who run the Creation Museum have been blacklisted from the scientific community at large, which you would know if you bothered reading anything other than propaganda about it.
Theory backed up by scientific evidence, discussed for decades and generally agreed-upon by every single sane scientist in the world makes it a pretty damn good argument.
So, in conclusion, evolution is a theory, but creationism isn't a fact, either. It's just a popular opinion.
