well ofcourse im a creationist, you cant believe in all evolution, and the creator. evolution contradicts itself, because, as scientists dig deeper into the earth, they should be finding simpler and simpler beings, but there not. there finding the same animals as we have today. also all of them have 21 chromosomes or whatever. no less. because chromosomes dont EVOLVE out of nothing, they were all created at one point and time.

All of them have 21 chromosomes, huh?
I can tell where you pulled that number from, and it certainly is stinkin' up the place.
Nope. Bacteria have one chromosome (minus the plasmid), (healthy) humans have 46.
Oh wait, its youtube. Nevermind...
"also all of them have 21 chromosomes or whatever."
I just love it when these guys make absolutely no effort to hide how little they know.
Or whatever.. I love that..
I love the "21 chromosomes or whatever." So scientific:
Einstein: "E = mc...uh.....cubed. Or whatever"
Edit: didn't notice Sascha had scooped me.

Chromosome counts are meaningless. Ferns have thousands of them. Bacteria may have only one. Even DNA size doesn't mean much. The lungfish's DNA molecule is 40 times the size of ours. The amoeba has 200 times as much DNA as a human. Most plants have more than we do, too.
I guess God needed 200 times as many instructions to make an amoeba as a human.
HURRR
Additionally, I don't know about cytogenetics of extinct species, as it is currently impossible to research, but this idiot certainly has three chromosome 21's.
THe great thing about the Internet is everyone gets an opinion.
The worst thing about the Internet is everyone gets an opinion.
Youtube often provides both as comments to the same video.

Well, there's a scientific argument if I ever saw one. Capping it off with "whatever" is a particularly nice touch.
Actually if we buried deep, we'd finally find your head which is buried beyond the sand, rocks and remarkably able to defeat the pressure, very much at the deepest bit of the Earths crust near the asthenosphere just so you don't have the face the facts.
(I'm not even sure that made sense, lack of sleep and an afternoon of reading fstdt is sending me mad.)
Um, Drosophila melagaster, the classic fruit fly of beloved fame by geneticists have a whole 4 chromosomes- its part of what makes them so useful to study. That and its really easy to go from two fruit flies to entirely too many. I suggest learning a little science, say 9th grade biology 1? Or if that's too hard, you can try a life science class. Or middle school science even.
Actually... humans are the only species known with 23 chromosomes. Our nearest relatives, the apes, all have 24. In fact, one theologian suggested that the human soul may have been inserted at the point where two chromosomes merged to become one.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
