Why are there people this stupid? It scares me in a way, our species, known for its intellect, can produce individuals this stupid.

Doesn't seem to matter how many times "Evolution doesn't work that way!" is said, yelled, or whimpered there is always some clown that thinks they're being clever or the first to ever try this line of ill fated logic. We need to figure out how to harness the wind these idiots generate when flapping their pieholes.

Apes are apes because they are apes. Humans are humans because they are humans. Apes with human intelligence only exist on "George of the Jungle". Humans with ape intelligence ask stupid questions like, "why are there still apes", a thousand stupid times instead of reading a fucking biology book to learn about evolution. We call them "fundies".
I don't know how to break this to you, Mike, but we are animals. Our chief distinction is a rudimentary ability to think, which does not yet apply to fundies and Republicans.
Well you see that's the great thing about evolution.
While one group of apes started evolving into something else, the other group stayed as apes.
Thats how we have such diverse species of birds and spiders and many other creatures.
