I know it’s spam, but I’m bored, so I’m going to counter it.
God said He proves Himself by observing nature. Let's see if He is right. 1) Something can't come from that which does not exist, so the universe requires a cause.
Wait
so you’re saying the universe can’t have come from nowhere, so something else capable of creating the universe must have come from nowhere to make it’. You’re adding an extra step that fails to do anything to solve the problem, and in fact, exasperates it.
2) The universe can't always have existed because
It hasn’t always existed
big bang theory.
a) heat death would be far greater than it is,
See above.
and b) mankind would have approximated into that alleged past eternity
I know that I could refute this and the following bit with just the latter’s issues, but I will point out that mankind hasn’t always existed; we evolved through the process of natural selection.
and not still be sinning to the extent it still does along the exponential progression of conscience we are clearly on.
First, what is sin, without reference to the bible? Second, what in the Holy Lord Imperator’s* name is the exponential progression of conscience. Assuming it is what I think it is
how is it clear we are on it, is there any evidence, or did you just make it up?
What other option is there than the uncaused (uncreated) created?
The Big Bang and Natural Selection.
Atheism is utterly destroyed and morally bankrupt because it has no answer and never will.
See above, and for the questions we don’t have answers for, we continue looking, as opposed to filling any blanks in with your god by default.
You would have to be God (having omniscience) to know if God exists when you hold out having to know all things to be sure. You are saying you won't accept proof of God unless you are God. Wow!
But you don’t have to be god to see that the chances of such a god are miniscule at best, especially in the case of a Judeo-Christian god. You might as well declare that fairies created the universe, but you can’t say they don’t because you aren’t one. Unlike the religious, we are able to look into the nature of the universe, as opposed to just throwing up our arms and saying godidit’. If there was evidence outweighing that which we have for current scientific theory indicating that a god exists, we would change our tune, I would hope.
Choose the one true faith (true reality) that comes out on top from the ones that are accessible: Christianity, Hinduism/Buddhism, Islam.
It is not a faith, but if you are going to be choosing a true reality, you’re missing Atheism.
Obviously Christianity is the most personal because God reveals Himself in Christ.
According to a 2000 year old book compiled 70 years after the fact’ by people who weren’t old enough to have met Christ, if he existed, making the accuracy of their testimony suspect at best. In addition, just because you like the concept of a personal god doesn’t support the idea such a being exists.
And only Christianity is proven by the resurrection proof and multiple resurrection appearances in various group settings.
That is, if the bible could be taken in any way as accurate given that it was written long after the fact’. You’re going to need more evidence than this, or you might as well claim that Zeus is real, given his appearances to people, and the many children he had, in Greek mythology.
If you want to be eternally separated from God, it’s your choice to send yourself to Hell.
Aye, or perhaps, we just like to have some reasoning behind our beliefs.
Unwittingly, however, you lead many people to Christ and strengthen the faith of Christians because you are unable to disprove the perfect proof for God. Amen.
The burden is upon the person attempting to forward a view to find proof, and your perfect proof is sorely lacking in it.
Don't worry about who God is yet or even if He exists, just realize the universe needs a cause and can't come from nothing.
But your god can come from nothing?
Let me know if you have reached that point yet: contact me at Christian Chat. If you were to find a cause for radioactive decay or whatever, you would still say something else could have happened all by itself. Are you like a 3 year old?
You mean, blindly following what is taught to us without thinking about it ourselves, and without any sort of evidence supporting it? Shiny mirror.
Why do you need to hold out to know all things to know if the universe requires a cause?
Because there is no reason to assume that cause is god rather than fairies, Zeus, the Flying Spaghetti Monster or Emperor forbid, something we can actually find evidence for.
Atheism is inherently self-contradictory, because it claims you need to be all-knowing to know if the universe can't come from nothing, but if you were all-knowing (the very attribute of God) then atheism would be false, for it denies God's existence and this ability of His.
Err
what? We will never know everything
we can only hope to learn more. Although we will never be able to disprove god completely, there is absolutely no evidence that such a being exists, and a great deal against one. It is a safe bet by any standard.
You are claiming you have to be God to know if God exists! That could be the most obnoxious, self-exalted thing I have ever heard. You don't care about logic and evidence do you?
Says the person who has referenced naught but a 2000 year old book full of contradictions by unknown authors and near zero outside support for the entirety of his argument.
There is observably proven trillions of causes in nature and no hard evidence that something (in nature) comes from that which does not exist.
How many times are you going to pull something must have created the universe by appearing spontaneously instead of coming about my itself’.
The absurdity of false humility goes hand in hand with arrogance. Why shut your mind down to the overwhelming preponderance of evidence that is beyond a reasonable doubt?
Once again, a 2000 year old book full of contradictions by unknown authors and near zero outside support does not equal overwhelming preponderance of evidence that is beyond a reasonable doubt’.
Thus, the reason you reject reality
You keep using that word, I don’t think it means what you think it means.
is because of your desire to remain sinful and in your selfish self which eternally separates you from the love of the One True God.
The god that despite loving us’ is willing to leave us to an eternity of torment for finite sin’ instead of giving any evidence of his existence aside from the mess that is The Bible?
*- I tend to use terms from 40k as expletives
if I’m going to use a fictional being’s name in a faux oath, I might as well choose one that I find badass.
(Might I ask those reading this if it's alright? XP Trying to get the hang of this.)
