OH NO! OUR RELIGION OF EVOLUTION IS DYING A SLOW DEATH IN THE US! QUICK, LET'S GET TO THE SCHOOLS AND TEACH MORE OF IT! Mabey if there was a shread of evidence for this stupid thing, people would be more ampt to believe it.

Okay, dumbass, evolution is not a religion. Get it through your head. And just where do you get that evolution is dying at all. There are new discoveries made quite often of fossils and artifacts that strengthen, not weaken, evolution. It would seem that religion would be more in danger of slowly dying than scientific theory.

Oh, no, indeed. Oh, no, you think evolution is a religion. Oh, no, you think evolution is dying out. The real "oh, no" is that pinheads like you want to teach creationism as fact.
"QUICK, LET'S GET TO THE SCHOOLS AND TEACH MORE OF IT!"
That's a good idea. Let's teach some courses in logic, critical thinking and ethics, too.
"Mabey if there was a shread of evidence for this stupid thing, people would be more ampt to believe it."
The problem seems to be your inablity to understand the evidence, or, really, what the word "evidence" means.
"Mabey" you're an idiot.
I'm "ampt" to believe that.
We do need some shreds of evidence, seriously. These mountains of it are just unsightly due to their massive size. Now shreds? They're cute, small, and easy to swallow.
Chris, from what you reveal of it in your comments, your world just seems more and more twisted all the time. It's bad enough that you have the beliefs that you do about creationism and so on, but how do you manage to interpret the everyday reality around you in so monumentally backward a fashion?

Evolution =/= Religion. End of argument. You're wrong. Full stop.
Unfortunately, I have to agree - I think it IS dying a slow death in the US. And because of that, we'll become a footnote to history - the rest of the world will leave us behind, and it'll be because of deluded assholes like you.
I'm "ampt" to believe that.
By the time you finish high school you'll have spent, what? a week or two in science class on evolution?
Learn enough to pass the test questions and go on in your ignorant way, no ones forcing you to accept it. Most of what we're taught doesn't stick and most people have no use for biology in their careers.
Maybe the problem with getting you to accept Evolutionary theory is that it's NOT a religion. Maybe the way to convince fundies is to open great big spired evolution churchs with arbitrary life rules and the promise of super-evolutional- powers after death.
Then you'll feel right at home with it
Actually, the scientific theory of evolution is flourishing in countries like Germany, Japan and China. In those countries, creationism is not considered at all in science classes. Interestingly, the performance of students from those countries on science tests is shamefully better than those of the US, where evolution is taught amidst great apologies, when it is taught at all. The end result will be the transformation of the US into a scientific backwater.
Clearly getting evolution into the schools and teaching more of it isn't just a good thing. It is a necessity. Only a religious fanatic would deny it.
Says the man of a faith so insecure of itself, it's not content to remain in it's churches, but must be shoved any and everywhere they can put it...classrooms, public displays, you name it.
“OH NO! OUR RELIGION OF EVOLUTION IS DYING A SLOW DEATH IN THE US!”
No, it really isn’t.
“QUICK, LET'S GET TO THE SCHOOLS AND TEACH MORE OF IT!”
The science won’t change if you take it out of the schools, though. OUr students just won’t be competitive in the industry.
“Mabey if there was a shread of evidence for this stupid thing, people would be more ampt to believe it.”
That’s just it. there are shreds upon shreds. But illiterates don’t want to believe in it.
Confused?
