I've seen many misconceptions from people who say the Earth is actually somehow a round ball in space. It is beyond absurd and preposterous so to try and clarify for them I've made a quick diagram showing just exactly how the Earth is flat and why it appears to be round from space. The reason Earth appears round from higher up is because gravity bends light, so the farther away you get from the light you become aware of just how powerful an influence gravity and refraction have on it. It's not that the Earth is actually curved it's just that the light is curving away from your eyes. The first picture here merely looks like a round object but it is obviously fake because it only shows part of the landmass - and obvious hint that there is a conspiracy cover up.

This has to be a poe right?
Oh wait, it's from youtube. That's a pretty standard level of intelligence here.
Flatearthers, they are so few nowadays that I think they should be put under protection of the Endangered Species Act :D
Maybe someone should ask him how it is possible then, that people can make a round the world trip by just traveling westwards all of the time :D
Gravity distorts the light to make the Earth look round? Well, technically, gravity does affect light, but not nearly to the extent that you're claiming. The only thing warping the image of reality is your brain.

Yes, the earth is round. You can test this by using two people and a dune.
1 - Make one person swim/row/sail into the sea untill you can't see him.
2 - Climb dune.
3 - Now, you can see the person again.
PROOF!
Well, it's not a round ball, nor is it flat. A slightly oblate spheroid is the best description.
Ask Eratosthenes about this silly flat earth notion of yours.

Oh my, is this a flat-earther?

*facepalm*

That's not how gravity works.

Oy vey.
So light from part of the flat earth is bent away, but some of it can go straight up to you?
GRAVITATIONAL LENSING DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY
I always thought my home town was a black hole. I never realised the whole earth was one :-)
Obviously all this excessive gravity is bending the brains of fundies and scrambling their thought processes rendering them unable to reason logically.
Photons of light have a rest mass of zero, so theoretically, a resting photon, if there were such a thing, would be unaffected by gravity. Since photons are moving, they have energy, and energy and mass are equivalent (E=MC^2). But the mass equivalent of light is truly tiny. A tiny speck of dust like the earth would have virtually no effect on light. They found that the sun could bend light back in 1919, but the effect was barely measurable (a shift in the position of a background star of less than 1/2000th of a degree). And the sun has 333,000 times the gravity of the earth.
From his comments:
"Since sustained spaceflight is not possible, satellites can't orbit the Earth. The signals we supposedly receive from them are either broadcast from towers or any number of possible things. No one has ever orbited the earth and and Photo are fake. Hope that answers your questions"
The guy is also a moon landing denier. :/

It's for medical purposes, like a bruised brain, due to a severe blow to the logic parts of it.

DON'T JUDGE MEEEE!
Oh yes, of course it's flat, and it sits on the backs of four elephants (named Berilia, Tubul, Great T'Phon, and Jerakeen) who are in turn carried by the great star turtle A'Tuin. Makes perfect sense to me.
