Feminism draws several stark contrasts with the truth of revealed Scripture, rejecting biblical paradigms at every turn. In fact, for the Christian, feminism is best described as a declaration of war against the Bible’s teaching on sexuality. It should be recognized up front that feminism is not a Christian worldview; in fact it is an anti-Christian worldview. The Bible teaches that God created us Male and Female. Feminism teaches that gender is a social construct. The Bible teaches that men and women have distinct roles. Feminism teaches that the gender roles are evil and the Bible is an evil, patriarchal book. Those who hold to Feminism with even a modicum of consistency are lost. Many of them are themselves antichrists.

Feminism teaches that gender is a social construct. (...) Feminism teaches that the gender roles are evil and the Bible is an evil, patriarchal book.
One must be careful not to mix radfems with "standard" feminists.
Many of them are themselves antichrists.
I thought there is only one antichrist and he is yet to come.
Feminism teaches that men and women ought to have the same rights, opportunities and responsibilities. That's about it.
Gender is a social construct, something we are taught to be. Sex is the genitals we're born with.
If feminism teaches anything about it, it's that each person ought to be able to adopt whatever role fits her/him. The genitals don't decide whether you're able to use a vacuum-cleaner or a power drill. If anything, the cleaner is heavier than the drill, so women ought to drill while men ought to clean. Or,ya know; if we do it together, regardless of gender, it will be done quicker.
The Bible IS evil and patriarchal, but those are not the only problems with it.
Antichrists? I thought there was just one Antichrist...
"Feminism draws several stark contrasts with the truth of revealed Scripture, rejecting biblical paradigms at every turn"
Deborah (Judges). Esther (Esther). Ruth (Ruth).
Thus even your 'God' - via his own Scripture, his own 'Word of God' - is anti christ. Holy Contradictions, Batman!
Time to reject your Bible , eh Timmy Pukeman...?! [/hyper-paradox]
A lot of people, in addition to feminists, reject Christianity, including holders of other religious beliefs, socialists, Marxists, atheists, etc. in fact, I would more support a movement aimed at freeing up more than half the population than supporting the imaginary son of an imaginary sky wizard.
@Anon-e-moose
Your forgot Rahab, Yael, Judith and Mary, or the "Mother of God"/Theotokos - the latter being especially important for Rev. Dukeman because, unlike the mainstream Christians thinking she was the mother of only one third of the Godhead, he thinks, because of his modalist and Sabellian tendencies, she refermed the entire Deity in her womb.
Hmm. "Christ," as in "Christian," means "the anointed one." Who anointed Jesus? A woman, and a sinful one to boot (Luke 7:36-50). Without the actions of women by their own agency, Christianity is literally meaningless.
The Bible may "teach" that crap, but Jesus didn't. And feminism doesn't "teach" anything to do with the Bible.
Pathetic loser desperately grasping for authority that says he can own a woman who'd have nothing to do with him voluntarily, part 573,372,789.
I wonder what Mr. Dukeman thinks about such figures as Miriam, Deborah, Jael, and Esther from the Tanakh, not to mention Mary and Mary Magdalene from the Christian scriptures. Mary Magdalene was, according to all four Gospels, the first to meet the newly resurrected Jesus. She was even called the Apostle to the Apostles.
It's sad that a blind eye is turned to empowering characters, but Mr. Dukeman can live in his fantasy world. I'll just go on being a Jewish feminist. It's a lot more fun being an antichrist than a bigot like him anyway.
"... and the Bible is an evil, patriarchal book."
Well, it is, at the very least the interpretation of fundie numpties. So you're saying that feminists are closest to the truth?
@SpukiKitty
I bet I'm a bigger "antichrist" than Dim Pukeman.
"Those who hold to Feminism with even a modicum of consistency are lost. Many of them are themselves antichrists."
Guys, I beginning to suspect that Tim hasn't even read the bible.
@Various
"Antichrist" as a proper noun, isn't a biblical term. It's only used as an adjective, ie. one opposed to christ. The First Beast of Revelation (who gained the title the Antichrist at some point)is never referred to as such, and based on its symbolism more likely represents an organsiation anyway.
Not to say Tim is making any less of an arse of himself, but pluralising antichrist is the one thing he got correct (in the more than one sense, not the no feminists are christian sense).
So that's why there's a verse in the bible that says there is no man or woman.
No wait, that would mean gender is a social construct and is stated so in the Bible.
Too bad someone edited the crap out of the really awesome person who wrote that and stole his name to be a sexist, Roman boot licker.
Technically speaking gender is the social construct while one's sex is genetic.
Holy shit! I'm the (an?) anti-christ? Has Satan just been boning random women to make a whole passel of anti-christs? I have so many brothers and sisters now! We should all go to dinner somewhere nice and catch up and see how dad is doing.
Feminism doesn't teach gender is a social construct, science in general does.
Maybe you should read some stories in the Bible like Ruth or Deborah again, eh?
"The Bible teaches that men and women have distinct roles"
There you have it folks, the bible teaches that if you have a vagina you MUST do this and that and if you have a penis you can do whatever you want as long as its for jebus.
"Those who hold to Feminism with even a modicum of consistency are lost. Many of them are themselves antichrists."
I thought there was only one antichrist? Talk about not knowing what the fuck you are talking about.
The Bible teaches that God created us Male and Female. Feminism teaches that gender is a social construct.
Those are not incompatible. Male and female are biological. Gender is social. Just because a girl likes trucks better than dolls doesn't mean she suddenly grows a penis. Conversely, a girl who likes dolls and gets a sex change to become male would still be considered feminine.
The Bible teaches that men and women have distinct roles. Feminism teaches that the gender roles are evil and the Bible is an evil, patriarchal book.
I can't say I disagree with the Bible being an evil book, but that's not what feminism says at all. Feminism simply says that men and women should be treated equally by law and have the same job opportunities. If that's against the Bible than the Bible is the problem.
Feminism draws several stark contrasts with the truth of revealed Scripture
So basically, you're saying that the Bronze Age Arabs who wrote the OT were anti-feminist. So what? This is 2014 AD, not 1500 BC.
@JeanP
Thanks for the heads-up. Forgotten about those further argument-annihilators as pointed out by your good self. Further proof that Timmy Pukeman - like all other fundies - has never actually read the Bible. But then if they had, they wouldn't be fundies.
Romans 11:26-32. All Jews - religious or not - will be going to Heaven, bypassing one of the core fundamental s of your 'belie fs', Timmy Pukeman: John 14:6. And even with the religious Jews, there's the little matter of the Liberal Reformists, which includes female Rabbis, so there's your 'argument' doubly annihilated, little Timmy.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
