Trust me on this: I'm not the only furry here at Chimpout by any means. From what I've seen so far, the majority of furs are not nigger lovers. All our local furmeets have been nog-free, and held where coontact is unlikely.

Here's a word of advice: don't try to act superior to other people when you like getting it on with someone is a full-body squirrel suit. Now, I don't particularly care what your sexual preferences are and you can yiff to your heart's content but as soon as you start discriminating against others don't expect anyone to pull any punches mocking your fetish. How's that expression go? Don't throw molotovs if you live in a fur house? Something like that.
I remember reading about a Furry convention in New Orleans not long after Katrina. Apparently there were still a lot of refugees living in the hotel and convention hall where the con was happening. The Furries all got together in their brightly colored animal suits to entertain the kids and lift their spirits. That was the moment where I realized not all Furries are in it for the porn and many of them are decent people.
This fellow however, is not one of those decent Furries.
Or being a furry could just be a primarily recessive, socially awkward white thing. More likely, you're just a racist fuck searching for some false equivalency to justify your own weird fetish. And this comes from a furry.
This made me facepalm. One of the few things that every furry except this one apparently, seems to agree on is that the community accepts just about anyone except for pedos, people who practice bestiality, and I thought racists. Though I suppose if he hasn't had an opportunity to show off his racist attitude, that would probably be the only reason he hasn't been kicked from the local furmeets.
Or, it could be that being a furry is a crazy white person thing.
*edit* Power Skunk beat me to it. I just hope he doesn't dress up as one.
Just because I'm a nitpicker:
'Furry' is just the idea of anthropomorphic animal people. A 'Furry' may range from a person who just enjoys movies or comics or art about them, to those who draw them, to those who think they were meant to be one, to those who dress up as them.
Furry costuming (Fursuiting) is a minority specific within the Furry fandom, and fursuit-fetish is an even smaller minority.
That said, I am surprised to see this kind of crap, since Furries DO tend to average as more open-minded and accepting than humans in general. This is both good and bad, because the fandom is also a lint-trap for people who've been rejected from the rest of society wholesale for actual and valid reasons.
@ ChakatBlackstar
Furry here. And we don't.

Sic the OP, boy.
You are a furry. A FURRY. YOU GET OFF TO ANIMALS FUCKING EACH OTHER. You have zero right to look down upon anyone. The only people more pathetic than you are otherkin, MRA's, and people who think Snape is living in their head.
Seems that SnowDog knows as much about furries as they know about most everything else.
I know a good many furries that are black, and one musician that's well known in the fandom is black.
The fandom is one of the most friendly, open, and welcoming groups that I've ever met, and I'm happy to be part of that.
@SpukiKitty #1412894 Awww ...that's cute!!
@Delirium #1413149 : Ah, no. You must get your view of furries from CSI if you still believe that. The Furry Fandom is no more about perverse sex than Trekkers are about green-women orgies.
@Nerikull
Thanks!
Also, I wish folks would lay off the furry-hate. It's not different than hating someone who's LGBT, a crossdresser, a certain religion, ethnicity or whatever. It's really ignorant. Even if one finds the whole "I'm a big fan of weird animal people"...well...weird, there's no reason for the hate. Yeesh. What's the difference between bullying someone for being "nerdy" & bullying someone for being a "furry"?
Bless the bohos, goths, furries, geeks, nerds, punks, flowerkids, weirdos, emos, eccentrics & other oddballs! If everyone was the same, life would be boring. To demand strict conformity is to make one no different than the bigots & fundies we make fun of.
The word here is TOLERANCE!
Tolerance DOES NOT mean you 100% approve or agree with something, it means you'll live with it & not judge the person for anything other than their character.
I, for one, find scat-sex disgusting & totally insane...HOWEVER...I will not badmouth a person's right to do it with a consenting partner. I will not judge a person's character based on a really gross-out activity they like.
Not all furries involve animal-character roleplay in sex...but even if they did, WHO THE HECK SHOULD CARE?! Some folks pretend to be mating critters. Weirdsville to many but no big whoop! They're not raping real animals & it's consensual.
Some folks just hate on Furries, LARPers, Justin Bieber & his fans, Nickleback & their fans, Twilight & Twilight fans, Fangirls, Rebecca Black or whoever because it's "cool" & "everyone's doing it". Look, I think Bieber is pure cheesetastic, overhyped, pop pablum, too but I'm not going to attack him (or his fans) personally. People have different tastes.
If one must "hate" on someone, hate on them for being Murderers, Rapists, Tyrants, Bigots, Abusers, Psychopaths, people who actually HURT others!
Let people "be themselves" even if you personally think it's ridiculous. Grow up, people!
I suppose now we know that, no matter how marginalised, wronged, or generally loathed a group is, it can still contain members which are hatefully bigoted.
How wonderfully ironic.
That man does not belong to the furry fandom. The whole purpose of anthropomorphism is to imagine and understand how multiracial culture can cohabitate. Seriously, people: Rats and penguins and velociraptors having gay sex together. What could be more tolerant than that? God dammit, you can't be a racist furry, you fucking son of a bitch.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
