Totally agree, except for the Crusades, the Inquisition, the witch hunts, the biblically justified enslavement and persecution of blacks, and Hitler's reasoning for the slaughter of not just your chums but millions of others including the mentally or physically handicapped, communists, homosexuals, etc... (don't believe me, look it up). But yeah, you've suffered plenty.
a) Hedonism is not a religion that I am aware of. It is quite possible to be hedonistic and be Christian or Jewish too.
b) Every race and religion, colour and creed has fought and died for whatever they believe in and many for no reason at all. Whether that is a religious fight, or for example the fight for equal rights for blacks in America. Or whether it is atheist soldiers fighting in wars between nations.
That's how the witch hunts were, us silly pagans/heathens trying to kill off all the good Christians.

well to start with, XIans killed quite a few Jews.

They've also killed lots of non-Xians and atheists.
The bllod reeks more on the hands of Xians than any other religious group other than Muslims.
We accept the inhumanity of Stalist USSR, Maoist PRC, Pol Pot's Cambodia, etc, etc. But they were effectively personality cults rather than purely rationalistic states.
