If you want progress, stop discriminating people based on gender and start discriminating them based on IQ. And that's INDIVIDUAL IQ, not "my parents were smart so I'm smart", prove it, we test you first and then assign the level of rights based on that.

You want to know why we're not progressing faster? Take a hint: most people in politics and "civil society" are bullies and narcissists. Almost NONE are scientists. Almost NONE are geniuses in the true sense. Sure they may be average or above average, but that's not enough to manage a complex society.

People themselves are a problem, they don't want real intellectuals leading them, they are easily impressed by bullies and narcissists. The way the system is set up, that's what you need to be to succeed in any leadership positions. Freedom and democracy went to far. Time to scale it back a lot.

@Don Underestimating women as somehow harmless isn't just sexist, it has dire consequences, even lethal hypothetically.

Just ask yourself, who stands a better chance against a female assailant? The guy who treats men and women equal or the guy who thinks women are weak and could never harm him? Gender profiling just isn't logical.

Only two things will put an end to war:

1. a federal government with authority over Earth

2. an enlightened scientific political body, ideally let's say the president of an Earth government should have at least 180 IQ and in fact very gifted people should be groomed early on for such positions

You may say "but there will still be civil war". That's possible but that too can be countered with the right social engineering.

To this end:
- ensure children get a peaceful education
- ensure that people have their basic needs met through a form of conditional basic income
- tribalism to be discouraged on all sides (this is where the social justice warriors get it wrong, they only focus on white male tribalism while ignoring or facilitating anti-white male tribalism so equality and mutual respect is never accomplished)

What are the actual conditions?

1. absolutely no violent crime

You will not go to prison immediately, less severe but still violent crimes will involve relocation in tier 2 residential areas where only other violent criminals are sent to. As technology improves we can ensure compliance easier.

2. people receiving assistance through basic income are barred from having children

Violation = castration and relocation to an area where such violators can be more easily monitored. Not prison, but limited ability to travel and interact with others.

There are many ways we can brainstorm what a scientific rational based governance would look like. It would also be far more nuanced than this childish left vs. right freak show.

@Volcheka It's a good starting point, obviously you can't summarize everything in a forum post. One could write a novel about this and it still wouldn't cover everything. Nothing's perfect.

For example I would want our leaders not just to have a high IQ but to be scientifically educated to the point where they produce papers. High IQ people should also be groomed from an early age for something great.

There would be more tests along the way, such as absolutely no psychopaths or sociopaths. As science gets better, it gets easier to identify them before they cause any damage. Screening could even become mandatory from early age so we can quickly give inherently dangerous people special attention such as lifetime monitoring.

Earth could also be split into 2 or 3 tier residential zones, with problematic people being assigned to these areas. Certainly more humane than letting innocents exposed to them or having a prison industrial complex. This could be used for violent criminals, other areas could be used for non-violent criminals or anti-social people (no law broken but pose a problem such as being sociopaths or active "incels" or whatever else is a destabilizing factor, keep in mind even incels would get free medical care, including the latest innovations in mental care so there's no excuse). Prison only a last resort.

1) If your "tier 1" societies can provide free housing and medical care, why not just try that with everybody and see what happens? After all, Europe has a strikingly lower crime rate than the us, and (almost) does that in many cases. Then we wouldn't have to spend all that money and effort moving people around, not to mention telling somebody that their part of the world is now a "tier 3" place where we are sending all the psychos.

2) how is giving everybody healthcare not public assistance? Does everybody get castrated, if they have kids when they can't cover medical expenses? I've met some pretty high IQ folks who wouldn't make the cut, so to speak.

3) to be blunt, this sounds like another attempt to solve a lot of complex problems with simple solutions at an incredible cost. That describes most bad forms of government I can think of, and none of the good ones. Again, why not just try and emulate, say, Germany, and see if we can't improve from there?
