How is our national conscience faring these days?

We have had well over 40 years' worth of pulling tiny human beings from the womb and throwing them in waste receptacles.

We have followed the ruler of darkness through his incrementally introduced progressions into sins of the flesh and now we are primed and ready to let men marry men, and women marry women. How proud we must all be!

We are wobbly and unsure about our support of Israel and her right to possess every inch of her God given nation. Palestine, having never been a country, a nation or even a recognized colony in the earth has not stopped us from ignoring historical facts. It's the 'in' thing and Isis is here to prove it.

Without laboring the point to death - our conscience failed us at the start and it is also failing us as we approach the finish line.

Long ago I began to warn that the U.S. would begin to pervert and disregard the original intent and the literal aspects of her own Constitution. As we are joing the rest of the developed world in this regard, I'd say we really can be proud of this fact.

Except, for almost 2k years, Israel did not exist. They lost their country. It happens. Ask the Sioux or the Cherokee how they feel about it. I am assuming, since they lost their only in the last 250 years or so, you're willing to give them back their countries as well? If not, then STFU. Israel exists for one reason only - Western backing as they are the least crazy of the bunch. It gives us a foot hold in the region. The oil runs out in the Middle East, our interest in Israel will too.

And the persecution complex rears its head. The only attacks against "the teachings of the Bible" are those that don't allow it to be taught in the public school system. You can bran wash your kids at home & church just fine.

And you know what? The crime rate actually went down in the 90's and has stayed down, likely due to the fact that the fetuses which were aborted would have otherwise been born into poverty and likely would have grown up to be criminals. Not to mention that it gave those women who had abortions a better life by not having to take care of yet another child they couldn't afford, but I know you don't care about them.

I am proud that we're finally allowing yet another segment of our society to have the freedom they deserve. I'm proud that we're finally progressing to understand that homosexuality is just a normal variation of human sexuality and not a mental disorder or people choosing to be perverts like conservatives still claim.

We have had well over 1500 years worth of indoctrination detailing the genocide-level killing from your god in the Old Testament. He was a really good teacher, what with killing every living thing in the flood, and killing all of the Midianite and Amalekite men, women(including pregnant women) children, infants, and animals. And then there's all of those children happily dashed against rocks. And then there's all of the misbehaving children that were stoned to death at the edge of town, not to mention all of those first-born that god told us to kill. Let's not forget killing witches, homosexuals, fornicators, those of other religions, even entire towns if just one person within is worshipping another god. Then there's the blasphemers, those that work on the sabbath, false prophets, and women that aren't virgins on their wedding night.

How many has god killed?

With all the killing your god taught us how to do in the "good book", it comes as a surprise that there's actually any humans left alive.
