My faith is so strong, the Flood won't be disproven.

except geological evidence that we've collected over the past 100 years have disproven it. Rather, she should say "my faith is so strong, i'll believe fairy tales".
the whole idea of a worldwide Flood is also a huge mistranslation. There might have indeed been a flood to inspire Noah's Ark fairy tale, but the flood was just the two rivers overflowing.
First, I'd like to point out, that boat has sailed. The Flood has been disproven time and time again starting centuries ago.
Second, faith has nothing to do with facts. No matter how fervently one may wish, believe, think, hope or proclaim something to be true does not effect whether it IS true or not.
Grow up and move on.
In the immortal words of a man wiser than I, "Like it or not, believe it or not as you will. Your perceptions will not change reality, but simply color it"
Fundy translator:
I am a total fuckwit. I ignore reality. Nothing you can say, no mountainous heap of evidence, no matter how convincing, can alter the fact that I will refuse to even consider the evidence.
Mind over matter on a planetary basis AND trying to alter what has already occurred!
Good luck with that. Try bending a spoon first!
Then try and get your head round the fact that God was invented to answer questions like, "why does it rain?"
We know that now, so please place your "Goddidit" card in the discard pile - we weren't even meant to be playing with jokers.
Its like watching Linus standing in the pumpkin patch, waiting for The Great Pumpkin yelling, "I believe! I believe!" To his scoffing friends. People have been laughing at that scene for decades now. They are laughing at True Grace the same way. They know that both cases will end in exactly the same way.
"My faith is so strong, the Flood won't be disproven."
Two words: ancient China.
Up against provable scientific facts based on archaeological evidence, your 'Faith' has the structural integrity of a house of cards in a hurricane, True Fail.
Confused?
