In accordance with the evolutionist "gay gene" theory, evolutionists explain the preponderance of gay murders to be an effect of the genetic purpose to promote the deaths of genetically dissimilar individuals (as opposed to promoting the births of genetically similar individuals, i.e. children). If the theory were true, it would explain why homosexuals are more likely to murder. This aspect of the gay gene theory has been suppressed even by those who support it, since it may lead to scientifically supported "homophobia."

Even though I highly doubt the quote from Conservapedia is substantiated in any way, I would imagine that they are at least smart enough to argue in terms of demographic proportion.

For instance, a heterosexual man is more likely to engage in pedophilia, but what I think is more relevant is the fact that the proportion of pedophilia done by heterosexual men and that done by homosexual men is in proportion to heterosexual/homosexual population ratio, meaning that one is no more likely than the other to engage in said act.

Needless to say, my former sociology professor brought up the former in class, but not the later.

Hm, there are some studies, which show a high number of homosexual murderers in the group known as "serial killers", but the numbers are a) to small, to make a significant statement and b) serial killers are a relativ minor fraction of all murderers.

Btw. how do you classify someone as a homosexual serial killer? Is it enough, that he had one sexual encounter with another man? Is he out or closeted etc. It's kind of difficult to classify someone in this regard, especially in studies pertaining serial killers. Most of them are deeply disturbed individuals, who are not always honest, when they are interviewed, if at all they are. (the link discusses these problematics)

So, in conclusion, yes there seem to be a high percentage of homosexual serial killers, but it would be wrong to classify homosexual people as serial killers. And it is definitly wrong, to make statements, that homosexuals are more likely to murder. Especially, when you take into account, that prominent serial killers like Garcy, Dahmer etc. weren't part of what one could call the gay culture.

Almost all serial killers are male and white. Are all white men serial killers? So Conservapedia remember: correlation does not induce a causal relationship.

And nobody does explain things the way Conservapedia implies. (Btw. who are "evolutionists"?) That's just another case of "Lying for the Lord".

There is no "gay gene" theory. There is a correlation among male homosexuals on the mother's side (e.g., a gay man's mother is slightly more likely to have a gay brother), which has suggested there might be something on the X chromosome; but no "gay gene" has ever been found that I know of. There may not be one cause, or the cause may be in utero rather than in the genes of the child, since there is also is said to be a correlation with male birth order (each successively younger brother is more likely to be gay). I haven't heard anything at all about lesbians; the cause may be completely different.

How? Are blue-eyed people more likely to murder brown-eyed people? Are right-handed people more likely to murder left-handed people? Nobody holds that stupid theory - it was made up by Conservapidiots.
